I look forward to your write up Joker. Inter-Associational rivalries are great, as they are usually built on more than just sports, local derbies, class differences or religious differences. They all have an extra bit of spice. Especially because sometimes they don't face eachother that often.

This cranbrook story should be good as well. Especially due to the fact that they've only won around 6 encounters against Scots!

Well done to the Iggies footy men who seem to have it downpat in the First VIII right now. McGrath and Field are the only ones I think but they looked a class above the rest out there today. Well done.

Cracking Wallabies game against England overnight, Joseph Sua'ali'i's debut was brilliant! Great game also from Kellaway, Bell and of course game winning try in injury time, completed by M. Jorgensen.

Finn Hannon (Joeys) will be my guess for anyone from the Joeys 15A's team. Lethal at 10 or 15 and was a big part of the Waratahs U15's series win. Ben Barretto (Joeys) a new boy at the school and a solid Prop. Son of Irish and Leinster legend Steven Barretto. Expect him to be 1's or 2's next year and again was a big part of the Waratahs U15's win.

Unfortunately I think you'll find Darcy Feltham, Talen Risati, Cyrus Bloomfield and Sam Polly all end up playing League after school.

How many were from GPS origins - Kellaway Bell as well ? 8+ ? Not a bad reflection on the development offered at school boy and the love for the game

The Year 10 in 2025 hopefully will get game time in the Opens as it will only improve their game otherwise I'm afraid this year may be the last time Waratahs wins the U16 Super Rugby Competition. Reds 2025 U16 looks very strong!

The U15 Reds didn't look that strong when I saw them play a few weeks ago. They won, but only just and against a side full of reserve players.
The selectors really need to pay attention to that age group over the next 12 months to make sure they get the team right, and just as importantly they need to actively engage with some of the league players to make sure they want to play for the Waratahs. I know one young fella, an absolute super star in the making, felt it wasn't worth playing. A big call, but he would have been best on field if he played.

Wallabies winning, Lions tour, Waratahs Seniors stronger squad - all boding much better (still very long way to go) to win the hearts & minds of kids hopefully!!!!

The starting line up of the second game was completely different from the first. Hence they were so confident that they started all their bench players for the second game and only just won.

They had a lot of their best players on the bench for most of the game and one who didn't play at all.

Congratulations to Bailey Roberts-lintmeijer from Newington who has made the Rugby Australia U18 Sevens team.
In Sept he clocked an impressive 10.81 in the 100 metres.

The Reds 15s side chosen was a very weak side with a heavy bias to kids attached to League teams. It is with great interest that at the Red Tier 3 academy training last night that kids aligned and signed with NRL clubs have been removed from the Reds Academy.
