Very impressive Tom Symons (year 10) is captain. Bright future ahead.
Especially with Makasini coming back into the side. They are lloking very strong heard they love the wetThe Front and Second Row of the 1st XV is a concern, the boys will struggle against a dominant New pack, especially on a wet ground. Hope to be proven wrong.
Is he Year 10? I thought he was 11, did he not get a run last year or was there a Year 9 playing. Must be talentedVery impressive Tom Symons (year 10) is captain. Bright future ahead.
Newington performed very well last year year in the wet such as Shore away and the demolition of Scots at home. Especially considering they are arguably the largest side in the comp. I do feel for the Joe Boars...The Front and Second Row of the 1st XV is a concern, the boys will struggle against a dominant New pack, especially on a wet ground. Hope to be proven wrong.

As the ghost of LeCouter echoes the streets of Stanmore, word is Kden Carter (N) - replacement winger for Makasini vs View, has been ruled out due to possible shoulder injury sent for scans at 9:30am AEST. As a result, the scheming and illusive FB of 3rd XV L.Richmond (N) has been brought up into the senior squad. Due to play, if scans reveal a significant injury that will prevent Carter (N) from taking the hallowed turf of St Joseph's College Hunters Hill.
More updates at 2:30pm once scan results reach the sacred Stanmore plains, and team lists are finalised.
Faithfully,
Phillip R. LeCouter - 10th Headmaster of Newington College

The close game in and around the ruck will be the decisive factor for the first edition at the Death Star this season. Stock, Clout, Frape and Galligan (E) will all look to be destructive around that area. The decision to move Lemoto (S) to the centres and thus further away from the ruck is a strange decision for me. You would imagine that TSC would want him as close to the ruck as possible as there most likely won't be much ball movement on Saturday. I'm predicting Shore's forwards to have a field day in the muddy pigsty at the Death Star.View attachment 21904
Just received this picture taken by a year 10 scots boy with his drone. If you look closely you can see the poor groundskeepers struggling to keep their equipment afloat. Sporting activities this morning had to be cancelled after students were swept into the harbour. I don't know much but I do know this: naval tactics will be required to succeed tomorrow.
This is one of the leaked maneuvers I received from a SHORE boy this week. As you can see their battle strategy relies on a stagnant Scots forward pack, who I am told are yet to invest in floaties for their props. Through careful rigging of their jerseys, Shore believes they can achieve greater maneuverability throughout the battlefield akin to captain cook by erecting sails, using the lightweight nature of their backs as cannonballs.

Shore's bouyant lineout will definitely benefit from the surface area of Galligan when maneuvering amongst the rest of their fleet, and it will be crucial for them to stay vigilant about the wind behaviour across the course.
Gentlemen, expect to see your preconcievals of GPS footy challenged significantly this Saturday. You will be bewildered. You will be shocked. And most of all, your hearts will become aflutter as once more schoolboy rugby breaks new grounds, persevering through un
