Can we get some unsung heroes amongst the top GPS teams. I know a lot of the super stars amongst each team get mentioned week in week out in team of the week - but would be good to hear those who slide under the radar for the top teams (view, joeys, kings).

From a kings perspective a few names. Lachy Smith (#9), Sam McLachlan (#15), Bailey Park (#2)

From View would have to be C.Kelly (3), P.Spora (14) and N.Newton (15),

All class players who are always unsung herro's

Haven't heard much news from the Kings/Scots games besides what one of the players Finlay Farklet (S) has communicated.

Any updates on some of the players performances?

You won’t get much out of the kings supporters - they were lucky to get away with a draw. Scots were dominate up front and out wide. Their number 15 was the standout.
Kings were actually lucky to get away with a draw - a rush field goal on the buzzer instead of patience and earlier a pass to the wing went wide. Think the bag pipers played strong and loud

I am new to these forums, so not sure what to say.

Hope I'm welcomed here and hope I am here to stay.

As my first post I think I should start off with my short review of the Kings vs Scots game as I haven't seen one yet.

Personally, Scots could have scored so much more if they held the ball. Some very dumb choices and errors cost them this game. Had the ball so much, showed in many instances they could make line-breaks and the such, but make them then drop it, or something along these lines. Kings were playing as normal but I just think that Scots' had a huge change and were playing more for pride and the fans rather than winning the comp and defended extremely well. I think 4 players came off, and still defended remarkably.

After only really starting to watch more schoolboy rugby this year, best I've seen them play.

My standouts were :
KINGS - 4,10
SCOTS - 10, 15, 7, 8

For Scots someone who is quality week in week out doesn't get as much mention is Jay Mckenzie who's been great for scots on the wing and Geoff Hughes who's slotted into halfback the last 2 games and been quite good

I've seen 10+ comments acknowledging that the kings scrum-half is the best scrum half in the GPS. Park's name has been thrown around numerous times, and the Kings 10 gets praised almost every week but sure.
I can pay Park but Kings #10 wasn't in my original comment

???? Has Sam McLachlan not played 10 for kings this year?
Not as much as he has 15...also have not heard his name mentioned that much here. I don't know why u r trying to argue it really isn't that deep. All I'm saying is that these are underappreciated players, don't lose sleep over it bud

"not as much as 15" Oh so he clearly has played 10, and he actually received a large amount of praise not only in the View vs Kings match but from the beginning of this thread.

"Find me a thread where they've actually been reasonably acknowledged on the scale of other king's players like Durbridge, Fakanonua, and Tonga"
You're the one who wanted my opinion champ. Don't lose sleep over it when you should be preparing to teach your next class.

- but you are right, it's not that deep

Go get some sleep, why comment #10 when i clearly referred to him as #15...if you have been watching King's you'd know that their positions have changed almost every week, such as Fakafonua playing about 5 different positions in 10 games. No need to read into every word people write, just take it for what it is, you'll live a miserable life otherwise. Enjoy your night, USPT

How does the position a player plays determine whether he is "under the radar", you're just digging yourself a hole because you know I was correct and now have to cling on to a useless argument about me not knowing that he switches position.
