They'll be licking their lips at the full size field too

I'd prefer them to attack the hole left by whoever comes in as the second tackler trying to hold up the ball carrier & force a turnover. I'd also like to see some chips & grubbers to hold up the rush defence. Do that a few times & then you may have "earned the right to go wide". Just shovelling it wide is inviting Ireland to shut us down in midfield & hold us up in contact to force a turnover or penalty. Again.

Well, what the hell is happening?? Italy knocking over the Bokke??
And then that Irish/AB test, what a good and proper test!! It not often you say that the most brutal tests the ABs have played this year are from a NH team, I personally thought the Irish have looked by quite some distant the best team the ABs have played this year, and all this sneering by a number of rugby fans about the level of rugby in NH, perhaps need to eat some words. I will add I think the Irish will find it very hard to get up for Wallaby test next week, I imagine they will be mentally and physically pretty worn out after that test!

Magnificent theatre of a game in Dublin. No luck of the Irish today.

Meanwhile other overnight fixtures:
Whales beat Japan 33-30 - Drop Kick on the siren to break the draw. Sea Shepherd will be happy.

England defeat Fiji 58-15

Italy 20 South Africa 16. - Yowzers.

Scotland 19 Argentina 16 - PK in the last minute to win.

Yes, the AB's definitely had the best of the luck in that game. I was surprised, I didnt think the Irish would be able to compete this time round, but they really took the game to the AB's.

I cant see how the Wallabies will be able to lift enough to match it with the Irish next weekend - although the injury list might be a negative impact for the Irish.

Havent had a look at the Italy game yet, but how low have the SA's fallen?

Japan also had a real crack at Wales so some encouraging results for the minnows!

Misread that comment. Woops.

Been a good November window so far. Lots of competitive matches, and a handful of upsets.

Far more Importantly, according to the Calculator, the rankings now look like this:

#TeamPoints
1 New Zealand 94.57
2 England 89.84
3 Australia 88.14 (+0.62)
4 ↑ (5) Ireland 83.67
5 ↓ (4) South Africa 82.57 (-1.93)
6 Wales 81.77 (+0.05)
7 ↑ (9) Scotland 80.57 (+0.79)
8 ↓ (7) France 80.13 (-0.62)
9 ↓ (8) Argentina 79.91 (-0.79)
10 Fiji 75.49
11 Japan 75.20 (-0.05)
12 Georgia 74.24 (+0.46)
13 Italy 74.16 (+1.93)
14 Samoa 70.91 (-0.46)
15 Tonga 70.25 (+0.55)
16 Romania 69.12
17 USA 64.66 (-0.55)
18 Canada 64.53

Argentina out of the top 8, South Africa out of the top 4, both only have one more opportunity (against England and Wales respectively) to take points and not rely on 6 Nations results.

Jeeze a NZ, SA, Arg, Samoa pool would be worth watching

If done today the seeding bands would be:

Band 1: New Zealand, England, Australia, Ireland
Band 2: South Africa, Wales, Scotland, France
Band 3: Argentina, Japan, Georgia, Italy

So, yep, unless Scotland and/ or France have a 6N shocker, there's gunna be at least one Pool of Death in 2019. Which is what we want, surely, if we're serious about being a truly global sport.

A good win for the NZRT, but there were numerous shoulder-charges and head-high tackles by them: they don't need to stoop to such low/loe acts to win matches.
I thought that rock-Peyper-scissors' refusal to consult the TMO on possible forward passes leading to tries was (to say the very least) interesting.
