How good was he this evening? Granted - at the start of the season he was playing "2nd Five" too much and not playing to his strengths but he seems to have the balance right now. Tonight he did it all - distributing, kicking, cover-defending and of course running over fluffybunnies... He seems to have developed a more deceptive step also. Lethal.

He's going to be a handful for whoever has to mark him come the tri-nations if he keeps this up....

All Blacks centre Ma'a Nonu has apologised for an expletive-laden radio interview after his Hurricanes' team beat the Chiefs in their Super 14 match on Saturday.

An excited Nonu used the f-word seven times when answering two questions in his post-match interview after his team snatched a precious four-try bonus point in the final minute of the 33-27 victory in Wellington.

"After a tough game there was a bit of emotion flying around," said Nonu on Tuesday.

"I guess, being a professional sportsman you've got to be responsible for what you say. At the end of the day it hurts a lot of people."

Nonu, who scored two tries in the match, gave the following opening response in his post-match interview.

"After they got a lead of I think it was 24-8 or something, f... we were on our tryline and f... everyone's just, what was hitting us. And 60 minutes later we come on top and we scored a f.....g last minute try to get a f.....g bonus point."

Hurricanes coach Colin Cooper said team management had applied a sanction on the 27-year-old but wouldn't reveal specifics.

It's really been the season of the F-Bomb.. Perhaps someone could put together a montage... :lmao:
