DEPARTING Wallabies forwards coach Michael Foley has called on the Australian Rugby Union to replace him with an Australian and not offer the position to a candidate from overseas.

Why does he have to leave the national side? I don't see why Foley has to finish up with the Wallabies just because he has joined th Tahs.

If the ARU think it's a conflict of interest then just take away an selection input he may have, if he has any I don't know.

Well if he does have to leave then who are the best Aussie candidates?

I think Nucifora is an option but he may be happy in his role who else is up to it?

I'd prefer to see him stay as well. He's doing a good job. Look at how Moore progressed.

And how our T5 has progress as a unit - that's the key for me. Yeah the Frogs gave us a workout but we got a few monkeys off the back and didn't take shit from the ABs and Boks either.

Think that maybe Jim Williams wants a more active role in this area although one feels you really want a front rower calling the shots.
