Well, there is some excellent banter going in the various threads, as expected with the onset of Super Rugby. Personally, I love it.
Most of it has been good with some standout rants thus far from the usual suspects.
Just a quick note to all, especially our many "newer" members (and it is fantastic to see so many new names posting some quality stuff), that there are some rules, and they are there for a reason, and they will be enforced if too many people go troppo. Also, try to keep it to the match threads and not derail others.
Now, let the bilious dribble and spleen-venting provincialism flow...

My Wallaby jumper has been carefully moth-balled along with my Nationalism and my normal balanced and sympathetic view of the world. For the next few months, if you don't wear a Reds jumper I hate you. A lot.

So there.

Oh, stop! Seriously, my aching sides...guffaw, guffaw, etc... :)

Not so many of us here really. Not enough to start a local support group, anyway. The Club of Extreme Resentment, Inc.

I am looking at taking enrollments though. $20 gets you formal recognition of your displaced persona via a certificate of bitterness (Ballymore TAFE approved), a hot can of XXXX Gold for emergencies and a rolled up copy of the Courier Mail to swat the locals.

why cant we just have a wank thread where people talk about defensive lines and reword what they read in the telly and then a real thread where fans can go at each other for each game?

The package is forgeting a few items Daz. It needs a banjo and a stash of Flo's pumkin scones.

It seems the Reds are leaving a path of destruction in their wake. First they go to Cairns and a cyclone follows then they go to Darwin and now we are betting battered by a cyclone. Umm, Sydney next week.

I tell you what Ruggo, my fine fellow, when the Reds come to Perth I will be there making enough noise for 100. Of course, given the fact that natural disasters seem to be following the team like a shadow, I will also be very careful to make sure I am safely under the members stand during the game...

Here is a question, since we are talking about hate, rivalry and utter contempt of our fellow man: any chance we can add an /IGNORE feature on the forums for those of us who only wish to converse with other Reds fans? Hehehe...

Ah cyclopath, comedian of the forums. The point of this thread is none other to protect your precious Waratahs from verbal humiliation after a demoralizing defeat at the hands of the almighty, QLD Reds. If you can delete such posts it's like it never even happened!

Well, it wasn't a thread until others (like you) all pitched into it, it was more a reminder not to go too over the top in the match threads.
Did you lose that hat? I was looking forward to it at some Tahs games this year!
