Good article

The short kicking game isn't the same option in rugby as in league due to the rules. Get caught fielding a kick behind the goal line in rugby and it is a 22, in league it is a line drop out.

The thing good sides do is chase of course, as link states, but also work hard to provide attacking options for the ball carrier receiving the kick.
