Hoiles reacted poorly to Walsh. Walsh was extremely incompetent but Hoiles lost the plot. The other issue is that Friend appointed Holies captain when Salvi was playing better at number 8. A poor decision all round. They can both go.

Can't blame Hoiles, Walsh and Friend. But Hoiles certainly must be stood down as captain. Rocky Elsom is certainly the way to go.

Hoiles actually played OK, he broke some tackles (!!) and was industrious. He just is no captain on last night's performance.

Yeah, because Rocky has played really well this season since his return. Always involved. Leading by example. Setting the comp on fire.

I wish I could say the same about Phil Waugh's general dour display during the year. Orchestrating the Bore'o'Tahs movement around the park, only found some sort of form in the last few weeks.

First bad call (and there were plenty more to come) of the night and you get up and say "That was a rubbish call" straight to the ref.

And you're the captain.

What the fuck? I'd bench an under 10 for that.

Salvi was the best forward on the ground in for Bath yesterday's crucial game against the Wasps at Twickers...

+ 1

It was fun watching Waugh play Walsh correctly while Hoiles used the petulant smartarse approach
