Hardman dropped his head into Ellison's shoulder. Simple. No malice involved in that at all.

nothing wrong play on. I remember a similar incident with Digby as the tackler and he was penalised. Consistancy with the refs I do have a problam with.

anyone see his throw at the next lineout?????

You could tell on Ezra Taylors face before the throw he was worried Hardman was a little concussed.

His facial expression was GOLD.....it looked like he was thinking...'Mate, are you sure you gonna be able to throw this?'

For those who missed it, his throw was not straight & Ezra Taylor looked pissed off after he caught it. :lmao:

Had a couple of tackles on the weekend in First Grade that fell into the same category. The arm was over the shoulder in one case but it was minimal force of impact and the guy was being tackled from behind. When another guy attempt a front-on tackle and it slipped up from the shoulder he got yellowed, and agreed that it was reckless.

Smacked him on the top of the head. Should've at least been a full-arm penalty in my books.

Well for all the referee abuse that's going on globally these days, I can only say I'm bloody glad your not one of them.

It's not frickin tiddlywinks fella, back to poofball for you if you see an an ounce of penalisable offence in that.

Refs need to be consistent, if Palu gets yellow carded so does that bloke ;)

But no it wasn't a high tackle.

Ur right, u didn't. You started a thread because you thought a legit tackle should have been a full arm penalty.

Clearly you were paying him a complimen.

Anyway, all I was saying is that I'm bloody glad ur not a ref

I'm bloody glad you're not a typist...

Are you upset because I said action should be taken again New Zealand side?

theres nothing wrong with that tackle..

a defender should not be penalised for a high tackle if the attacker falls or dips his head in the moment prior to the tackle
thats just stupid by the attacker and not the defender

Hardman should have been penalised for attempting to kill himself by going into the tackle so poorly!
Nothing there.

To me its the same as that "spear" tackle Lote put on McCaw a few years ago. McCaw took no action to prevent himself landing safely, instead opting to try and place the ball back.
