Another interesting test ahead. Important test for both sides, specially the Hane. They showed now they can beat anyone and already beat the All Blacks at home. After their heroidics against the Bokke they sure want to hit the consistancy tickbox. Fuck know if they'll get that right because they can turn into horse shite in no time. The All Blacks have the nr1 ranking at stake here and obvious will want to keep their undefeated record in tag on tour. Myself wasnt that impressed with the Hane play against the Bokke and wont bet a c on the garlic eaters. I'll spare that for the All Blacks but then their forwards have to stand up. A good platform from their forwards to give fancy boy Carter enough time to dictate will win it for them.

The Haan team
France: 15 Damien Traille, 14 Vincent Clerc, 13 David Marty, 12 Yannick Jauzion, 11 Maxime Médard, 10 Francois Trinh-Duc, 9 Julien Dupuy, 8 Julien Bonnaire, 7 Fulgence Ouedraogo, 6 Thierry Dusautoir (captain), 5 Romain Millo-Chluski, 4 Sébastien Chabal, 3 Sylvain Marconnet, 2 William Servat, 1 Fabien Barcella.
Reserves: 16 Dimitri Szarzewski, 17 Nicolas Mas, 18 Lionel Nallet, 19 Julien Puricelli, 20 Morgan Parra, 21 Yann David, 22 Cédric Heymans.

Go the Frogs. Sure the Kiwis will be out for some revenge but I think the French are on the way up they've got class all over the paddock.

i guess hairy donkey is injured? that's a bit of a blow especially since the AB's can't help but rampage in the breakdown. i think he'll be missed. pulling for the roosters though. their backs could school us at the moment.

He is, which is a pity. I just love watching the man play rugby; he's everything that's right about French rugby.

One thing which does strike me is that under Lievremont - who appears to be getting there - they've reverted to a much more French alignment in the backs, much deeper and sweeping onto it. If they can only get back multiple scissors moves with the full-back involved, we'll know proper French rugby is back. Which, in terms of results for the rest of us, is a disaster, but in terms of the game - ooooOUUUPAAAAA! :yay

agreed. their backline play can be amazing and reminicent of the old times. even if they could trounce us....

Interesting game. I think the All Blacks have been alot more vunerable than usual this year (which is one of the reasons I am so annoyed the Wobbs have been so shite against them) and this game will be a good measure of how they are really travelling.

You never know with the frogs but gee its hard to see them not turning up full of thunder at Marseille.

Will probably try and stay up to watch this one.

This will all depend on which French team turns up. They've made a heap of changes from the side that beat the Boks so we'll have to see @ kickoff.

With the AB's you know what you're going to get. At best they'll crank the intensity up and perhaps a few more passes will stick and attack more flowing.

The French however are a big unknown.

Huge test for our boys this weekend, huge test. I am sure the good French team is going to show up, their current coach seems to be developing some consistency.

Ithink we need to go for the biggest backrow possible, which means Kaino, Read and McCaw. the strongest front row we have and the safe dependable guys on the wings again.

Hairy Donkey, Picamoles, Mermoz, Fall all injured. Although the French have some nice depth, with Bonnaire and Quedreago slotting in place in the loose. And Medard in at wing. Looking forward to this match almost as much as the Bok vs Paddy game.

Oh thanks Rusty, thought a hairy donkey will play some hard grunting rugby but he look more like a fancy boytjie to me.

He is a hard bastard, and one of the current Frenchies I love to hate. Form 8th man in the 6 Nations last year.

I remember way back when we lost against them , I think when Big Joe was still playing and Jean got injured. Look more skillfull with ball in hand then a hard bastard but he sure knock Kankowski over the other night. But then Kankowski is also a bit of a showpony.

Still try to figure out why you dont pick Rodney but want Kaino. He has been shite all year.
So'oailo has been off his game this year. While Kaino has hardly set things on fire he does provide oomph and is the most physical of our backrowers.

Mojo you cant fool me regarding Rodney. Coming from your biggest rival I always have the biggest respect for that man. He sure can dish out the hard stuff and sure have to be one of the leaders in that All Black team. The Canes use him often in the lineouts with success and never could understand why the Cartell havent done the same specially this year against us. Kaino, well I know you are a Blues supporter but he havent impressed me ever in the past. You can lose form but you never lose class (thats what you lot teach me)

A rule of thumb I worked out many years ago, in the days of Sella, Lagisquet and Serge le Fumant; if the French string three scissors moves in a row together against you, start double-fisted drinking straight away. Because you're about to be reamed, and there's nothing on earth that can stop them doing it to you from that point on.

Think the All Blacks will take this one easily. Surely the Hane cant copy the way we played against the All Blacks and will run into a black brick wall on the weekend.
