Thanks for the welcome scarfman.
It is so gratifying that I am allowed here and Chisleshead is not. It's almost like the pinicle of my career thus far.
Anyway, I promise to only talk rugby and not annoy Lee Grant - There Lee, I wrote it. Sure you may wander from your sanity with excessive ammounts of Joeys rugby, but hey, we all have our faults (Naafi more than others).

That said, I am salivating at the yardstick we face from the poms this week. Only after that will we know if Michael Foley should hand his pay packet back for brushing Jeremy Paul for so long, or if he triumphs with some some what bizare selections up front.

Are you still upset that Adam Frier got capped for the Wallabies and you didn't ? You & Eddie Jones can start a club called Undersized Hookers.

Deadset, Hi, is that it. I thought the welcome mat was going to laid out, stoggies all around and pimms for all!

Wallabies by 13 over the toffs of England!

By 13? Is that your lucky number? 13 based on what exactly?

Depth of perception, + a little of this and a touch of a little of that. Don't be scared of the #13 it won't bite!

Hello hi-jinks,

Im puzzled at the Wallabies ability to perform incredibly well against the All Blacks, then capitulate against sides that they should comfortably dispose of.
Its unfortunate that Robbie Deans' abilities should be questioned in the current climate.
There is no doubt that the Wallabies are playing a far more exciting brand of rugby under Robbie Deans yet the results dont seem to be forthcoming.
What do you see as the crux of the Wallabies short comings?
I believe it is simply a case of creating a winning culture.
This of course is easier said than done. The results have to come first!
That being said, I would hope that the Wallabies can turn their fortunes around this weekend.

The Don says.................................Wallabies by 10

Admittedly, with Paul in his usual position that Italian winger wouldn't have made so many breaks ...

Why do I get the impression that the don is a deadset gee up. Well don, it's like this: no Aussie side has really ever put the Italians away with a decent score, I can remember us only just getting home against them in 94 off the back of some Tim Wallace penalties. Australia struggle with a sometimes mindless (yet passionate) opponent, look at our results when we play teams like Ireland or the maori. We don't have the mad men to match agro with agro.

NTA, you seriously aren't defending the smear campaign against JP are you? That would make you a pure disciple of Michael Foley and his evil talk.

I'm never part of a smear campaign - I'm making observations of my own. 7 years of playing like a seagull followed by 6 weeks of playing like a hooker is no excuse.

There was no excuse for not taking him to the last world cup, especially when we were so hopeless upfront.

Moore was our best forward that day, so its not like Paul would have made a difference when it mattered. Unless you were planning to play him in the back row.

Anyway, a seagull with poor skills in the set piece - esp lineout throwing only marginally better than TPN - I have no idea how he played as many tests as he did.

I think will all have to dissagree on this one.
Moore brings nothing, some of his lineout work was far from impressive against Italy. There were many attacking cnaces in opposition 1/4 blown with poor throwing. Moore copped a lucky break under Connoly, he was crap for QLD, he will have no excuses not to dominate at the ACT.

JP wasn't picked the last few years due to a longstanding feud with Knuckles, not Foley. Noddy put us right on this after I compained loud and long about JP's non-selections.

Definitely was fighting with Connolly. Moore is probably and potentially the best aussie hooker since Kearns IMO. Just needs to watch his discipline.

Here's what I think Moore brings:

- tolerable lineout throw
- good scrummaging
- good running & tackling
- concedes ruck penalties

And TPN:
- can't pick him because of throwing, unless you are prepared to get someone else to throw (which I am but nobody else is), so there's no point talking about him

And the Hobbit:
- awesome throwing
- uncanny control at the back of the maul (the maul is now stuffed so doesn't matter)
- questionable scrummaging
- gets completely smashed by the big boys around the park

Who would you pick, hj?

Adam is a Randwick player and therefore miles ahead the pack.

The fued stinks. Foley was involved big time in the leaked story to the media about the breakdown of Jp's marriage.
Foley never got over sitting on the bench for jp.

Anyway, it's over, jp was robbed maybe 25 more tests.
And Rat man, I maybe new, but I won't tolerate Randwick supporting!!!! In any form!!!

I can understand the dissapointment of your tartan lot being dispatched by the better side in this year's semi.

It's OK. We at Randwick are compassionate to the cause of those below us. It's because we care. Deeply. In a loving manly non gay way. We leave the manly gay way for those beasts supporters that frequent Oxford Street.

OK, I won't spit the dumby (much)
How embarrassing, Randwick - full of S14 players, only just scraped home against a spirited team of goers from Chatswood.
Watch out you blokes, the balance of power will soon be restored to Chatswood. This Uni flash in the pan, buy everyone fad will pass and they can go back to being the under achieving buch of nancies they always were.
I hate Randwick. I always will.
