Maybe I'm biased, being married to a Zimbo, bit I'm a big fan of the Beast. The way the Durban and other saffa crowds go off every time he gets near the ball, goosebumps.

Which is one of the many reasons that his tweets today make me sad.

Ja Boet, its always sad when politicians jumps into sport. Our lot is filth with it and myself never can see the end of it.

Sad for the Beast and hope he'll wear that green jersey rather sooner then later.

Now I see Mr Fransie Steyn's head also to thick for the Bok jersey. Hope he get booted big time.

It makes me sick to the bone that they have a problem with him! He has shown over and over again his heart is with the Bokke! As a white South African I have to say I think they whole rugby community loves him! I mean it does not matter where he plays. The people and supporters love him Even at Loftus you can hear them scream Beassssssssssst!

Our Bafanna team has a foreign coach. Nobody has a problem with that!

But then again this is South Africa. We have to deal with it.
