On burgess, it appears his lateral running is a conscious game plan from the Tahs, to either bring in an inside/outside runner or a show & go

Bugger the 'Tahs, it is his natural playing style which he developed as a Colt. All that the Waratahs, post-Todd Louden, can lay claim to is that they trained it out of him. Or maybe credit for that lies with the Wallabies.

Either way, thank God he's rediscovered it.

What is it with the halfbacks this week? Genia, Sheehan, Valentine and Burgess all played like champions, well, according to the G&GR gallery.

3 Burgess
2 Mitchell
1 Horne

So Horne was the third best 'Tahs player - on the basis of 10 minutes of game time? Presumably because of one impressive run from an unmarked position - and guess who put him into space?
