Could be in trouble here Noddy, no foxsports replay & I'm not sure many would have got up for a Lions match at 3am.

I saw it:

3. Hynes
2. Quade
1. Davies

Quade was again great. Played his hand when required and his defense was v good. Made several try saving tackles, and even got to his feet and won a turnover on one occasion.

Hynes made a shit load of breaks.

I'm obtaining the game at the moment. What was up with the Reds letting in 26 points?

The Reds score about 4 tries in the first 25 minutes - it was easy for them. Then they were under pressure and fell aleep for the next 40.

wobbly

Fred Wood (13)
3. Cooper
2. Hynes
1. Davies

Davies injected himself in the way we're used to seeing Ioane. Digby had a quiet one. A. Finger had another great game with some sublime touches and hard, straight running.

In the forwards, I thought the front row were all solid but the back row, particularly Houston need to be more effective against the Bulls.

They'll need a big improvement in the forwards to counter the Bulls.

Saw and loved it.

3/ A. Fainga'a
2/ Hynes
1/ Davies

Chambers is settling in well also. If he had lowered his body height, he would of made it over the try line.

They were 24-0 up after 17minutes.

The Lions first 20 minutes was the worst I have even seen in the S14. Dismal first up defense. Look like a Reds unopposed training run at times.

Reds will have to step up a lot to push the Bulls.

3. Cooper (actually made some great tackles)
2.Hynes (breaks almost everytime he touched the ball)
1. Daley (everywhere in defense)

The Reds have one of the strongest front on defensive backlines, if you discount Cooper. Ioane, Hynes, Chambers, Fa'ainga and Genia can all put opposition forwards on the arses.

In saying that Cooper made some very good tackles, and effected a couple of turnovers. His best defensive effort of the season.

I thought about giving Cooper some points for his defensive improvment but it is somthing he should of done some time back. I remember him putting Sykes on his bumb last week which was good. Hopfully the confidence he is building in his attack will help improve on defence and this part of his game getts better from here on in.
