2. McCabe
1. Giteau

I thought Owen Franks really spanked Alexander in the scrum & Keiron Read gave Rocky a bath.

I thought Rocky was awful last night he really didn't lift for the big game at all I think he needs a good rest before the Tri Nations.

Brumbies have to stop playing such negative, "safe" rugby, when they do, they look great.

Why kick back to the Crusaders? Idiots!

Spook, has your disappointment over the Brumbies losing possibly clouded your judgement? I'M disappointed they lost, in fact I tipped them. You, together with all Brumbies supporters, must've had high hopes for this season considering their playing roster and to fall short at the last hurdle must hurt like buggery. I'll say it now, loud and clear: THE BRUMBIES HAVE HAD A DISAPPOINTING 2010 SEASON.

Could I suggest you cool down, count to 13,629 and give us the wisdom of your observations on the finals matches. Or, more relevantly, a unique view of Irish rugby and the Magners League from an Aussie viewpoint.

We're a broad church here at G&GR, but you know that. When you return to Oz you'll see some G&GR t-shirts at Bruce Stadium, something you're a part of but you won't be able to join in if you leave.

Is it possible that Elsom resents not being captain? Or Giteau? Any insider info Brumby Jack?

From an outsider point of view, there appears too many chiefs at the Brumbies, and too many egos.

Egos in the form of Hoiles, Elsom and Giteau.

The two real ego-less leaders in the team are Mortlock and Smith. Those two should have been captain and vice captain - I couldn't see Giteau questioning their decisions like he does Hoiles'.

I don't think Hoiles is paticually an ego. I suspect having his leadership questioned by others has driven him to a level of frustration. I think the incidents between him and Walsh may have been letting off steam, though badly aimed at the wrong person. To me it seems like player power is out of control at the Brumbies. I hope they sort their shit out and return to the great rugby we have seen out of them in the past.

I didn't think he had an ego until recently. His appearances on the rugby club have lacked any humility or remorse for his poor handling of Walsh. Then after that game he was also rude to Pollack on field vs the Reds (?). He is coming across very poorly.

Compare the way he holds himself to Waugh, Genia or even Sharpe, and it appears that his confidence is spilling over the line and turning into arrogance.

I agree about Rocky, I don't know what has got into him this season, I was hesitant when I heard he was appointed as captain, but I suppose Deans wanted a cemented player to do it. I think his position should be up for review, and yes, I honestly think Genia should be captain he was arguably the best player of the S14 this year.

Rocky should have a break for the Fiji test, and for the first England test.

What's that post about, Lindo?
