Only half got to watch - up country with the in-laws and eating dinner!
Bloody Force! Watched half the first half (looked like gold) then the last 10. Jeez, very frustrating to see them let that slip.
Fairly awful final attempt to tackle by D Mitchell.
Bugger!
But well done the Canes - good graft to win it.

Hearing Staniforth's scream and I thought that's the last we'll see of him playing rugby in Aus, but he got up and kept powering on - all heart that man.

Mitchell's defence should rule him out of contention for the Wallabies 15 jersey, how can someone so strong in the tackle be so feeble when attempting to tackle?

The facial hair on Eaton is a disgrace. How much time did he spend preening himself in front of a mirror for that attention seeking monstrosity? The likes of Backies Botha must just think he is some little homeschooled punk wannabee. Personally Im not in favour of seeing our All Black locks wearing one piece leotards at the Wellington Sevens. Im sure Brad Thorn wouldnt be caught dead in the mankini either. Eaton should take a leaf out of Keith Robinsons book and kill some wild boars on his days off. More of a concern for Eaton is his onfield performance. He is still light years off the off the form he showed which led to his AB selection back in 2005. He hasnt stepped up and taken a senior role in that Canes eight, just seems content to be the joker in the pack, when by now he should be the glue.

If there was ever a case for ball in hand rugby this game is it.
Constantly the Force kicked away great posession only to have the bearded ones run it back at them and pressure their line.
It seems to me that Mitchell (the fullback variety) has run out of ideas - his 2nd half game this season is decidely on the nose.
if I were a Force forward I know what I would be saying to their kick happy backs.

Form is temporary. Class (or lack of) is permanent. He's still not that great under pressure.

No Richard Brown for the last 10 minutes & the wheels come off the blokes a freak. The Force are so frustrating at times they should have but that game to bed before the 50th minute.

How on earth did Ryan Cross fuck up a 3 on 1 situation against a prop? The force score there under the black dot & they go up 34-13 game over.

The force actually played really well for about 70 minutes except for the gifted 1st half try for the canes.
