England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

Who ever plays at 11, 14 and 15 + 10 who we normally drop back, are going to get absolutely peppered with high balls with the change in interpretation around blocking chasers.

I just have zero confidence that our chasing game will be up to giving it back to the English

I'm not implying he's forgotten but he's gone into a completely new environment and his first exposure to the work could be a Test at Twiks. We haven't even been able to get him into a Club game.

It would be the sensible thing to try and accommodate the transition wouldn't it? Seems a normal thing for most people even though athletic pursuits are different I think it's still relevant.
Ghost solid reasoning apart from one thing, we don't have time to ease him in. This guys been playing pro football for a while and played a lot of union as a kid? I reckon Schmisdt would have been watching him closely and all the little bits of news are that he is going very well. It is not like chucking a total rookie into a game.
I would bring him into 12 and leave Ikitau out there. Depending on how Kerevi is going.

But like.. Lining up in the most defensively difficult position for his first professional game ever of this sport against England at Twickenham??? After having literal weeks of union training is insane. If he goes okay then that will be a massive pass mark.
I would not underestimate him. He has played a lot of rugby incidentally.

I just don't want everyone to rip into him for a while. Yeah he's on good coin (not his fault) but we don't think of his age because he's been around a while.

Same age as Lynagh. Most seem more than comfortable to let him develop knowing he's nowhere near what he could become at 21.
yeah I won't pass judgement till after his first super season but unfortunately for him the journos won't wait that long.

Not sure you’ll like the latest.

Christy Doran now saying Sua’ali’i might be starting at 13. Not clear on other positions but speculating that Ikiatau will be at 12.
I’m hoping this is Joe playing a bit of ducks and drakes before kickoff. Starting his international career at 13 at Twickenham, and bumping out one of our best players, would be pretty crazy.
