At least he was able to say somthing constructive without letting that stupid little mans syndrome of his get in the way. Until Pocock gets some games under his belt and proves some form, I would take Hodgeson at 7. Rocky should watch out as I think Eddie is on to somthing in regards to the captancy and Genia.

Agreed. Had the captaincy slot opened up this season instead of last I think Genia may well have gotten the nod. It doesn't help Rocky's cause that he isn't gaining captaincy experience at the Brumbies.

Captaincy should be based on Wisdom not performance. Gregan shouldn't have been the Captain the whole time. If Genia is the captain now in his first season, that would be scary. He hasn't even owned the Jersey yet! He should be a Vice Captain first.

4. Douglas - maybe in a season or two, but not right now. Not with Mumm available.
6. Higginbotham - this is Elsom's spot.
7. Elsom - I realise Eddie has abandoned the theory of an openside, but Pocock is still the man here, or Waugh based on last night.
8. Houston - this actually might be a realistic option if we want a ball runner. Well, a lazy one...
11. Morahan - Um... Turner? Mitchell?
