I dont usually read Greg Growden's Friday pile of dung, but this caught my eye today.

Caldwell comeback
No Bull! Former Waratahs second-rower Will Caldwell is on the comeback trail, after being forced to take a break in 2010 due to a battle with Crohn's disease. Caldwell wants to play for Sydney University and the Waratahs next season. In the interim, he has been on his property in Young, and will shortly be involved in an auction for four of his bulls, all named after Waratahs - Rocky Elsom, Berrick Barnes, David Dennis and Benn Robinson.

Awesome news. Best of luck to him.

Caldwell was getting seriously good when he had to retire. If he's well, then I'm behind him 110%.*

* That’s impossible no one can give more than 100 percent. By definition that’s the most any one can give.

It looks like Peterson is proving to be a false messiah, so there appears to be a vacancy for a hard working tight head lock to back up Kane Douglas. It would be wonderfully deserved, Ducka is one of my favourite Waratahs.

I really rated Caldwell, would be very good to see him back. Did he ever get a Wallaby cap? He went on a tour didn't he? Or am I thinking of someone completely different (Al Kanaar?)

Kanaar got a single cap in the same test Lachie MacKay and Lloyd Johanson debuted. v the All Blacks. You can guess the result.

Caldwell is upcapped.
