What ever happened to this guy? The Force got rid of him when he got injured, and I haven't heard of him since 08. I thought this bloke had so much potential.

He had a huge amount of potential but was just not given a chance to play and get over his hamstring problems. He was a purebred winger, and it's always sad to see careers with potential cut short, alot of what if's go up in the air.

But to answer your question, I have no idea where he is now. Someone might know if he is playing club rugby in Brisbane.

Caleb retired because of chronic hamstring problems.

He was the first player signed straight from high school to the senior squad at the Reds since Elton Flatley.

Some people around the traps didn't rate him, but personally he was the most destructive schoolboy winger than I ever saw. It is a damn shame he wasn't given a full career.

yeah he has retired now, and he has slipped into a much more 'comfortable' lifestyle, he is looking more like a forward then a outside back.

Damn shame about that bloke, I thought he'd be playing for the Walalbies, he was an outstanding player. A shame injuries got the better of him.

Another boy from here on the coast. I would like to know where he is also. He is also a great bloke.

Met him once (couple of years ago) and he gave me the time of day - had a great conversation - shame about chronic injuries - all players should take a leaf from this bloke and be prepared to talk to the great unwashed masses of rugby fans - they (players) don't realise the positive impact that can have on supporters.

His play in 07 under Jones was one of the few highlights of a dismal year.

Last I heard from his family, and this was a year ago was that he is not well, actually very unwell.
He has become somewhat of a recluse and it is his writing and study that keeps him afloat.
caleb is a terrific guy and one might suppose the events at the Reds may not have helped his future. I have long been an avid opponent of overtraining and Caleb at the hands of the gurus at the Reds suffered tremendously.

I might add, that from my time with him at TSS and at the athletics track, Caleb is one of the nicest decent kids going around.
He always had time for my son and what's happened is such a total waste.
I don't know that the entire blame could be put at the feet of the conditioners at Reds, however the program they had him on certainly did nothing for longevity of a sprinter such as he was.

seems a little overboard blaming the Reds as much, some people are just prone to injuries(ala Gerrard, Horne), both of them suffered similar injuries to Brown.

Even when he went over the Western Force, he suffered more injuries.

Feel so bad for the guy, enormous amount of potential. Such a shame someone's like like his could be filled with the "What if's"
