Look like Butch James will play next year for the Stormers and the Bokke

Qoute
And Bath are resigned to losing fly-half Butch James after he agreed a deal with South Arica's Stormers to play in next year's Super 15.

Now only Jean de Villiers and we'll have a full blooded Bok backline!

BE a good guy to have on the Bok bench but he has no chance of starting ahead of Morne unless something horrible happens.

They needed him in Durban though

Good to hear he's back, I hope he hasn't lost the flying headbut.

Henry Honiball, step up.

We can only dream.

That's the kind of 10 that suited the Sharks game perfectly. Direct no nonsense.

This signing of has been flyhalfs is starting to piss me off.

Great news that the Butch will be back and keep M. Steyn out of the Springboks.

Now I look forward to F. Steyn returning ;)

dunno blue. pdv is still on the scene :thumb

PdV's selections have not generally been an issue. I think something drastic has to happen for Morne to be dropped. Injury is the only thing between now and RWC that will see him lose the spot. I think this guy is still going to get much better.

It's substitutions and talking that he battles with. A lot.

fair point. i was super impressed with morne last weekend i gotta say. he's definitely putting it all together. looks like he's making the other backs better too which is the true test.

that chip over the top was pretty clutch.

I first read that as Brock James is back! and was wondering who (besides maybe Bruce) would be getting excited about that. Butch is a good player, not sure about his age though and if his body holds up will add to the Stormers in next years competition.

Baffling signing. He has looked pretty pedestrian in th NH pre-injury and by now his entire body has been reconstructed.

Sure they do, Strauli the reason.

He and Morne will do pretty well in the Bok jersey, 10 has been a position we struggled for years.
