He's getting an ARU top up for the final year of the contract so looks like they think so as well.

Delighted to read Allan's on the ARU's radar. But, if he's good enough to get a top up (he is) he should be a regular starter for a Super side. Bit difficult with Sio in the same squad.

I can't help thinking there's some sorting out to be done with our props in Oz; either Allan or Scott should consider changing sides or, failing that, maybe look at moving franchises to be the #1 choice for the #1 jumper. BTW, they're both graduates of Sydney's most successful prop factory, Wests Junior Rugby. Would you believe Allan and his brother, Michael, and Scott all played in the same junior team?

Before Brumbies supporters go ballistic and tell me to bugger off and keep my suggestions for their team to myself, I have no idea what Ben Alexander's best side is. But watching Robbie Deans pick Kepu at LHP and Ben at THP never looked right to me.

Can't help it if we provide great team culture. Not saying that he wouldn't find it anywhere else, but apparently that's the main attraction.

If he moves I hope he stays in Australia. Prop stocks in tahland are a little thin at LHP depth, so they might to entice him back to Sydney?

Bugger off Lindo!;)

Brumbies will have at least two THPs after Benny A worthy of Super Rugby and maybe beyond over the next season or two - Leulua’iali’i-Makin and Ruan Smith.

So there we have it, the G&GR pundits recommend Sio move to the Tahs in 2017..... You heard it here first.

Chieka would/should want his props, hell, all his players, being regular starters at their Super Sides. If Allalatola and Sio both want to be competing for Wallabies spots, the likelihood is that one will either have to switch sides, or move on from the Brumbies.

It's not picking on the Brumbies. I'm fully expecting Meehan to have to make the same decision within 2 years based on what I've seen from him and Stirzaker.

Hopefully having Cubelli and Mathewson as starting halfbacks doesn't last beyond this year.

It isn't good for Australian rugby to have two franchises starting foreign halfbacks.

Yep, all those salivating over the prospect of Scott Sio leaving the Brumbies can now go back to lamenting what could have been.

Writings on the wall, one of these lads is switching to THP.. Depending on how Slipper recovers we may see it as early as the June tests..
