Further to discussion in this thread, the following media advisory from the ARU is below and deserved it's own thread.
News media are advised that the Qantas Wallabies’ Tour match against English Premiership champions, the Leicester Tigers, will be screened live on the internet tomorrow morning. The game kicks off at 6.30am [AEDT] and will be broadcast on www.premiershiprugby.tv
The Tigers, who are coached by former England hooker Richard Cockerill, have named a strong side for the clash at Welford Road in Leicester.
The local team includes a number of players with international and Super Rugby experience including the former All Black and Crusaders winger Scott Hamilton, who hails from the same Canterbury club, Glenmark, as does Qantas Wallabies head coach Robbie Deans. Hamilton was coached by Deans at the Crusaders.
Leicester will be captained from fullback by the former Irish international Geordan Murphy. Goal-kicking flyhalf Billy Twelvetrees is a promising player to look out for while hooker George Chuter, prop Julian White and No 8 Jordan Crane all boast international experience with England, as does reserve winger Dan Hipkiss.
Openside flanker Craig Newby, who is a former All Black, is known to the Australian players via his time with the Highlanders in Super Rugby, as is the robust blindside flanker Thomas Waldrom, who played with the Hurricanes and more recently the Crusaders. Reserve halfback Jason Spice also played for the Hurricanes during his Kiwi career.
The match will be refereed by South African Test whistler Jonathan Kaplan.
