Further to discussion in this thread, the following media advisory from the ARU is below and deserved it's own thread.

News media are advised that the Qantas Wallabies’ Tour match against English Premiership champions, the Leicester Tigers, will be screened live on the internet tomorrow morning. The game kicks off at 6.30am [AEDT] and will be broadcast on www.premiershiprugby.tv

The Tigers, who are coached by former England hooker Richard Cockerill, have named a strong side for the clash at Welford Road in Leicester.

The local team includes a number of players with international and Super Rugby experience including the former All Black and Crusaders winger Scott Hamilton, who hails from the same Canterbury club, Glenmark, as does Qantas Wallabies head coach Robbie Deans. Hamilton was coached by Deans at the Crusaders.

Leicester will be captained from fullback by the former Irish international Geordan Murphy. Goal-kicking flyhalf Billy Twelvetrees is a promising player to look out for while hooker George Chuter, prop Julian White and No 8 Jordan Crane all boast international experience with England, as does reserve winger Dan Hipkiss.

Openside flanker Craig Newby, who is a former All Black, is known to the Australian players via his time with the Highlanders in Super Rugby, as is the robust blindside flanker Thomas Waldrom, who played with the Hurricanes and more recently the Crusaders. Reserve halfback Jason Spice also played for the Hurricanes during his Kiwi career.

The match will be refereed by South African Test whistler Jonathan Kaplan.

The teams are – Leicester Tigers: Geordan Murphy (captain), Scott Hamilton, Matt Smith, Anthony Allen, Manu Tuilagi, Billy Twelvetrees, James Grindal, Jordan Crane, Craig Newby, Thomas Waldrom, George Skivington, Ed Slater, Julian White, George Chuter, Peter Bucknall.

Reserves: Rob Hawkins, Gaston De-Robertis, Steve Mafi, Ben Pienaar, Jason Spice, George Ford, Dan Hipkiss.

Australia: Peter Hynes, Rod Davies, Pat McCabe, Anthony Fainga'a, Lachie Turner, Berrick Barnes (captain), Luke Burgess, Richard Brown, Matt Hodgson, Scott Higginbotham, Van Humphries, Rob Simmons, Salesi Ma'afu, Huia Edmonds, James Slipper.

Reserves: Saia Fainga'a, Ben Daley, Dean Mumm, Pat McCutcheon, Nick Phipps, Matt Giteau, Luke Morahan

Kick-off: 6.30am [AEDT]

Broadcast: www.premiershiprugby.tv

Thanks mate. So should it be pretty obvious what path of links we'll have to follow? And the broadcast won't be limited to computers in the UK?

Very good question, and one to which I don't have an answer..

I think the aru website usually put up a highlights package of these type of games anyway - useful for those of us that don't want to pay (that's if we have to)

But it's not really worth getting up at 6:30am if it wont be shown...

www.premiershiprugby.tv is a pay site. Does that mean we have to subscribe to see the game?

A new poster posted this on the game thread early this morning:

Been looking for a way to catch this game in Oz - had to dig deep but just found out Premiershiprugby.tv is showing the game live. It costs 99 cents to watch so not a bad shout.

I asked how you paid the 99 cents - by credit card - or did you have to have an account?

No reply yet. Anybody else know?

Yes, 5:30 if you are in Qld.

Here's hoping we discover if it's payed before the game.

Will the live chat be linked to on the blog page?

My first post.

Had a look at the premiershiprugby.tv site earlier on, and wasn't sure if they provide full live telecasts
or just live audio feeds and then a highlights replay 3 hours later.
Still couldn't see any direct reference to the Wallabies game either.

I have been to this site twice now and I cant for the life of me see any link to live games, paying for live games or anything of the sort. Is there anyone who has managed to get further?

Im having trouble with the site too. Tried to subscribe and the payment wouldn;t go through. I'm also not convinced the video is going to run correctly on my computer. Has anyone got through and tried their video - is the quality ok?

Twomint didn't have it listed this arvo.

As for the 99 pence for the other one. I tried to register for 2 weeks but it wouldn't accept my credit card. What can that mean?
