Righto, who's going? My young fella and I have tickets, we'll be there with bells on.

this about who's going or the test in general?

if test in general, what will the weather be like, what about the state of the ground?

Moans about the reffing as usual, how did they go and (AFAIK) this time we will have a NH ref as opposed to SH for the last two. What if anything will be different when it comes to scrums or breakdowns etc. Does this ref have form? if so for what and how could it manifest given what we've seen already.

I'm going Lindo - bringing along my doppleganger as per the Tahs game. Assume we'll have to meet at one of the overcrowded shit bars in the Novotel or Pullman, or hopefully the ARU and ANZ Stadium powers that be have organised some decent mobile alcohol dispensiaries because otherwise there will be a fight in the crowd beforehand.

Weather for Sydney this week

It'll still be a heavy track unless we get a gale blow up, which isn't on the cards.

We've got Poite as the ref, so expect the game to be managed in typical Gallic fashion i.e. chook raffle.

Sheesh, you guys are going to have a ball given the state of the series. I would not be able to sleep all week just in anticipation.

This game, 12 years ago, they had beer tents around the outside of the stadium, it was fantastic, before and after the game, I was slaughtered

This time I will be with the missus, so on my best behaviour with my shoes nicely polished and hair combed

Does anyone have more dope on things like this?

I'm damned tempted to head into town so I can grab a few hours of the pre match atmosphere (ala RWC in NZ) yet be able to watch the game on a good screen with thousands of others (lots of ribbing and great feel)

Has there been any forward thinking from those promoting the game to have facilities such as this in place?

Can't wait for this game, my liver is still in recovery mode from Melbourne but expecting top form from it next weekend

Changes for the Lions, Vunipola, Lydiate, Warburton, Youngs, Davies out Grant, SOB, Tipuric, Murray and Manu in.

I am flying down early on Saturday morning then heading into the Rocks to soak up a bit of the pre-match Atmosphere and head to the Australian or Glenmore for lunch and warm ups. Then out to the Stadium around 5pm.

Anticipating awesomeness.

Personally, the team i'd like to see start:

1. Robinson
2. Moore
3. Alexander
4. Douglas
5. Horwill (c)/ Simmons
6. Smith
7. Hooper
8. Mowen
9. Genia
10. O'Connor
11. Tomane
12. Leali'ifano
13. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)
14. Folau
15. Beale/Mogg

16. Fainga'a
17. Slipper
18. Kepu
19. Simmons/Kimlin
20. Gill
21. Phipps
22. Horne
23. Mogg/Beale

- Our front row have been solid over the past 2 tests, should stick it to them again in the decider. Douglas and Horwill get through a mountain of work, which is no surprise. If Horwill, thanks to the IRB, doesn't get to play this coming weekend, then Deans will obviously move Simmons in.

- A back row containing Smith, Hooper and Mowen would be one of the best we can field. Having two pilferers at the breakdown will bring more concern to the Lions, ESPECIALLY if Warburton cannot play. I don't think I can put it any other way but GEORGE SMITH HAS TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE SIDE! That much experience cannot just go to waste, plus him vs someone like Lydiate will be very exciting. Hooper does a lot, but I reckon play Hooper for half and Gill for half. If only we had Pocock... Mowen has been one of the standouts over the last two games, particularly against Phillips in the first. I'm sorry, but Palu really does nothing. He's arguably been out of form for the whole of the super rugby series and is not our best choice for 8.

- Genia: Best halfback in the world, by a country mile. O'Connor has to stay at 10 now, no point in changing the positions to much before the third test. I don't understand why Deans didn't select a specialist 10 for the tour. Barnes is not, Beale is not, O'Connor is not. The option I suppose is that bring Leali'ifano into 10 and perhaps move O'Connor to 12, but they alternate positions anyway. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), excellent as always. Folau brilliant and Tomane didn't play too badly. Beale realistically just needs to be there.

- On a side note, thankyou Leali'ifano for having the ability to kick penalties.

Nice team Nathan's, but I'd definitely have either Kimlin or MMM on the bench. Simmons has to start or wear a suit for mine.

I'm going down to this with my son, just can't wait!

For the team, I would like to see Smith start, Mowen to 8 and Kimlin to 6. If RD won't play Smith, I'd start Gill, either way Hooper comes off the bench. I would also have MMM on the bench, with both Palu and Simmons in their suits in the stands.

In the backs, Lilo to 10, JOC (James O'Connor) to 15, Beale to the bench, he's just too unreliable. That makes 12 a choice between Horne & Taps. Generally I prefer Taps, however he's been in pretty ordinary form and Horne's Super form at 12 has been good, so I'd go with him. Phipps, Beale & Mogg the bench.

I have discounted Cooper at 10, and also my choice, To'omua, as they're not in the squad and won't be selected. I stuck with those in the squad.

If Kev somehow escapes the wrath of the IRB, I think Simmons needs to go. He's been average at best and he nearly handed the Lions the series last night. We just need more impact and more composure. The last 20 minutes next week will be incredibly intense and hard fought. I don't think Simmons has the ticker or the focus.

If Kev gets a ban, I'd be tempted to still drop Simmons since Mowen appears more than capable of calling the line out.
