Just putting this here as an FYI for those interested:

Eversport.tv has a partnership with World Sports Group that enables them to provide the stream for the Asian Rugby Championship. These streams are totally free and are geo restricted in Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and Mongolia, so it's free to watch everywhere else.

When I was living in Hong Kong, South Korea used to put some very competitive teams on the paddock in games against the Colony. Their tackling was absolutely ferocious.

They seem to have fallen off a lot since those days unfortunately.

Last week South Korea beat Hong Kong 33-26 and the week before were leading Japan for quite a while before ultimately going down 56-30. So perhaps they have some promise.

I like the new format anyway. The previous top 5 was very uncompetitive as the next teams down like Sri Lanka and Philippines etc are a big step down. This gives South Korea and Hong Kong a greater chance to improve.

As the standard of living improves in places like South Korea, the average size of the population will increase. Should be good for the future of the game in some of these places.

China, of course, has produced some huge basketballers.
