It's interesting to observe the change in style from 1999 onwards, after Horan retired. Much more crash ball and quick recycle and less of the quick hands in the mid field. I'd love to see the speed of that ruck ball in our team at the moment.

Yes, if only we had someone in Horan's mould to break the line at 12; short, blonde QLDer with amazing feet and doesn't kick first......

Jeez there were some cracking forward passes in that clip. One was at least two metres forward.

But other than that some great play. Horan- how good was he?

With every passing year, the legend of Timmy grows further. An absolute superstar. A mate of mine played in the same first XV as Horan, Little and Johnstone at school and said he was absolute quality even back then too.
