Dear G&GR rugby geniuses,
I have a request for some analysis if that's alright?
On two separate occasions in the past two years I can remember feeling like I did after the game last night. Furious. They are last time we played the AB's at Eden Park (I think) and playing the Poms at Twickenham last year.
In all three aforementioned occasions, it seems that the opposition has managed to cut down QC (Quade Cooper)'s time on the ball leading to him play a little like a headless chook.
Im not sure whether he has just had an off day on these outings or whether there is more than meets the eye. Is it bad ball from Genia? No set platform for them to execute? or is it the opposition being constantly offside?
I'm worried that these two teams (Eng/AB) have devised a way of shutting down our stars before they can get going and I am interested in how you guys think they are doing it and whether there is anything we can do to stop it.
It also seems strange that on all of these occassions the Wallabies have looked thoroughly lost on how to adapt to this situation and we have ended up just doing the same unsuccessful shit until the game has finished. I think this is the most frustrating part of these 3 games...
Sorry for posting my request here but i'm not exactly sure where else I could post it.
On another note, maybe a request button for the site would be a good idea so people can request analysis on certain areas of the game...
Thanks!
