A call for Leather Footballs

There is so much dropped ball being blamed on the Slippery ball. Why can't we use Leather Balls when it is dry and Synthetic Balls when it looks like rain.

How about leather when it's wet - todays player don't know the joy of a wet leather ball.

The biggest problem is they use brand new balls on match day straight out of the wrapping. They need to use balls that they've been training with & are at least a week old.

Unwrap each ball, throw it in a rock tumbler with a bunch of sand for 2 minutes. Solved.

I agree Blue, slippery excuse is bullshit. Just concentrate on catching the damn thing.
