I remember Damien Fitzpatrick being on of the fastest in the Aust Schools side over the 40m... I'm sure he'd still be up there

Not sure how'd he'd go but if there was a sprint going on I'm sure Huia Edmonds would want a piece too, he does think he's a winger after all.

wasn't dunning very fast over short bursts when he was young, I thought I once read he was quickest in his team over around 20m due to using power muscles from scrumming but then was out of energy after a few seconds

Beale was a first-rate schoolboy athlete as well as being a footballing prodigy. GPS 100m champion I believe.

I would bet the Reds to miss the Super 14 finals that Greg Holmes can run faster than Beale, and can tackle...and has scored my tries than Beale for the Wallabies.

Beale may not be deceptively fast, but he is deceptively fat...unlike Peter Hynes who is like a sleek grey hound (wearing a cute little Reds jersey).
