Nicked this from Gwlad. thought it would bring some cheer to you Paddy

Debate has been going on late into Sunday night after the latest round of the 6 Nations. The question everyone’s being trying to answer is, ‘Out of those on show in the 6 Nations, what would be the Lions XV?’ Well, the waiting game is over and Gwlad can exclusively reveal the Lions’ team of the weekend:

The British and Irish Lions:

R Kearney; T Bowe, K Earls, G D’Arcy, A Trimble; J Sexton, C Murray; C Healy, R Best, M Ross; D O’Callaghan, P O’Connell; S Ferris, S O’Brien, J Heaslip.
Just to finish off the match day squad, here’s the replacement bench: S Cronin, T Court, D Ryan, P O’Mahony, E Reddan, R O’Gara, F McFadden.
[Due to injuries, the squad replacements would be a Mr P. Stringer and a Mr L. Cullen]

Very funny!!??!! You can have the ladies and the Nordies but leave the Munster players alone. We have sacrificed more than enough to the Murdochian sideshow over the years. I think the best bet is to make the whole operation Welsh and English thereby weakening the English and French teams in the HEC; see what I did there.

12 mins gone 3-3. Wales as expected much the better team. But Italy have to be happy with one visit to the Welsh 22 and 3 points. Also they really monstered Wales on the scrum that lead to the pen.

Wales big backs making progress each time they get the ball.

Half Time 9-3 to Wales. Poor decision making from both captains in the first half going for the corner when there were point available.

Would expect Wales to pull away in the 2nd half.

Jamie Roberts scores Wales' 1st try after a bad defensive read from the Italian fullback who covered the same player as the italian winger, leaving Roberts to just run straight through untouched

Wales closed out the game well in the 2nd half. Just one to go for the GS now. Roberts try was real class.

Italians need new half backs (again). Some one in Italy of all countries should be able to kick the ball. Referee rubbish
Should imagine it was the ref who stopped you winning by a hundred points. Even when you win the ref is at fault. Thought Clancy was excellent today, best reffing performance of the tournament. Shame he isn't doing the wales V France game.

I agree, apart from the YC, which was maybe a penalty for clumsiness, as Halfpenny slightly grabbed Parisse's pants, the ref did really well IMO.

Well Ireland can be thankful they'll never have to deal with that whistle happy chappy. Only thing you can say he was consistent in blowing up every attacking ruck for both teams. trouble is italy hardly had any attacking rucks

Ireland 32 Scotland 14 final score. Ireland very clincal in a very entertaining first half. Game went off the boil a little in the 2nd half. Donnacha Ryan was very impressive nad Rob Kearney was devasting with ball in hand again.
