Is that not just a function of more dispersed talent? 14 teams or whatever versus 5?
I prefer that model personally. A couple of test stars among a team of club level players in a competition with many clubs. It's how most competitions work.
Yeah unless there's a specific injury concern there's no real reason to 'rest' a player in Super Rugby. Its just not that long. Rotation maybe but leaving Ryan out wouldn't have been my call particularly given Vunivalu is barely a real player.
I'm coming round to the view that you have both Kellaway and Wright on the field. I'd personally have Wright on the wing because I think he's a better winger than Kellaway and Kellaway has historically had a lower error rate.
The premise was that more people attend when winning rugby is on display which is more or less irrefutable.
The actual sad thing is why you bother coming on to this forum at all. We fucking get - rugby is in a bad spot. Go gloat to your mum, she might actually want to hear what you have to say.
Harrison was always the best of the three and, IMO, will still prove to be.
I was happy with the decision to let Donaldson go. He sucked giant bags of dicks. Happy for the bloke that hes now showing form though.
