There is also a lot of public schools now with massive sports programs. Maribynong Collage in Melbourne west, government school that's offering a massive range of sports scholarships has no rugby program at all. These are the types of schools that RA needs to be looking at, where they have top...
I have never said I'm not mad with the Rebels either, in this case they are my team. The Wallabies isn't my team, I support rugby because I love the game.
I disagree, my son did Aussie Hoops, was $70-80 a term, plus $40 for basketball singlet and basketball. That's better value, also managed to get to be one of the mascots at the Boomers and got an additional Singlet and Tshirt as well as match tickets. His now playing U10s and it's $250 a season...
I think he needs a season in Japan, needs the less impact to get a run of games together. Right now he should be no where near playing for the Wallabies.
Winning this would be huge for Aussie Rugby, would nearly cement Rebels in 6th and Brumbies in 3rd, an all Aussie quarter final and at least one Aussie team into the Semis.
Imagine, Phil Waugh and company actually needing to support the Rebels this week in the best interest of Australian Rugby.
Leinster signed Jordy B for a season, if they went ahead and sign Tupou the IRFU would be roasted, they denied Munster signing a foreign lose head to. So they can't really allow a tight head to sign on those grounds alone.
Looking at the table, winning this week would be the biggest result for us, would secure 6th on the table. Would also pretty much secure 3rd for the Brumbies, meaning an all Aussie quarter final.
I'm sorry, you can't give out about last man defense when the team is missing a winger, what kind of BS you guys want to talk now.
Man down, they worked across the pitch and made sure Kellaway had to make a decision and he did, he had no chance.
Rebel man carm down, that match they showed heart. Playing a game with 1 hooker, the yellow card was the difference. Reds killed us when we were down a man
I was hoping the Reds would have a hang over from last weekend. Rebels having a good game so far, been aggressive at the breakdown and a good mix in attack.
That's not really the same quality of trade, Pone needs game time and is proven at this level. Loaning an unproven player just because he can't break into a team is different.
Really don't get how there has been no further news coverage about Rebels or RA since Friday. Both parties aren't that tight lipped normally, does this mean they are actually talking behind closed doors?
Can't predict anything without seeing who's available in the centers for the Rebels, was going ok till the double HIA in the first half last week.
Really wish Wilkin was fit, or we still had Hardwick.
