John I. Dent Cup 2018 - ACT Premier Rugby

Fairly out there having the students in there !! Royals vs Tuggies/Qbn/Gungahlin/Wests for mine. Way too early (and irresponsible) to be making predictions like that.

Randwick coach off to Norths? For full time work / $$$? Wicks losing their club finally having an impact?

We have put significant resources into developing Deegan and Davey Horwitz for young Mason to come out our way. The Corporation will snap him up for mine.

    Shute Shield 2016

I've been panned on here from pillar to post for my posts and being too straight a shooter. I love the shute shield i love my Wicks. I think it's a bloody joke to have a crack at clubs for talking to players. If your culture and programs sre good enough, you'll keep the majority of your list.

Some very interesting points have been made here.

Still reeling at Turtle's defection to the Rats. Big big news. Manly a club who will need a very strong start to season 2017. Wow

Buildcorp need to spend some money on their scrum in the off season. Parking was a bloody nightmare, bring back finals at the football stadium I say. Shoremen up 10-3, I'm 6 beers deep and loving it! UP THE SHOREMEN

    Shute Shield 2016

15-12 Norths leading. Bit of atmosphere here at the ground. Tipping the Shoreman to power home. Rats will need former Barker boy and Catchpole medallist H.Angus to star if they are to win from here. Is this being shown on tv?

    Shute Shield 2016

Went out to North Sydney today to suss out the new SS Grand Final venue. I don't mind it, and if it's going to make the $RU a bit of cash, why not? I've got to say, that shot from the Manly 7 before half time should definitely have been a yellow card. Not sure how it looked on television, but I...

Won't say too much in this forum, but I can guarantee that what we offer our players via scholarships etc. is dust compared to what Buildcorp shells out for theirs.

    Shute Shield 2016

Yes definitely a different vibe surrounding Manly. Thinking their premiership window is closed for now, and don't see them making the playoffs this year.

    Shute Shield 2016

I ditched the Wicks on Saturday and went and watched the derby between the Marlins and the Rats. The Marlins appear to be a shadow of the 2015 model. Not sure where they sit on the ladder but gee they struggled on the weekend. Either the Rats were absolutely on song and there wasn't much Manly...

Sadly was at the accountant late so missed Eddie dropping in to training. What a legendary coach/bloke who has proved all of his doubters wrong. Up the Wicks!

    Shute Shield 2016

I reckon Campo had a bloody ball at Coogee seeing us knock the Pirates out of the finals race. We are looking bloody good in the lead up to the finals. Up the Wicks!

    Shute Shield 2016

Although we are at home, I am still very concerned about the Pirates giving us a run for our money. I honestly think we'll go close to winning the SS this year, but a desperate and dangerous West Harbour could be a nightmare tomorrow. Up the Wicks!

    Shute Shield 2016

Was out and about tonight and bumped in to a few of the English lads getting a feed. I asked them how they enjoyed training at the home of running rugby- Coogee Oval and they said they loved it. I suggested they come have a season in green before they retire! Up the Wicks!

    Shute Shield 2016

Great weekend for the Wicks. Again we beat Uni in a super game of football. After some mixed results of late, we seem to be back on track and are a real show of taking out the competition. I was one happy man when I left Coogee oval on Saturday. I went home via the Coogee Bay Hotel for a few...
