    QLD Premier Rugby 2019

Watched the GPS Wests game on the stream, probably the highest quality game of the season thus far...2nd game I have seen of Wests this season(Uni) and for 55/60mins there was absolutely nothing in it. The scrums were relatively even(2 tight heads to Wests at start of 2nd half, 2 pens to GPS...

Australia v Ireland, Sat 9th June @ 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

An absorbing test match...a proper test match. Tight and tough and these things always fall either way of small margins. If CJ Stander dives early it's a try, Coleman silly on the Irish lock to cost Folau a try and then the "obvious and clear knock on" that no-one apart from the TMO saw for the...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2018

His scrummaging really struggled...it didn't go well for him against their big loose head. 4 or 5 times he got the lofty treatment but I think that would be his first time in Premier grade so it would be very harsh to judge him based on this. His ball carrying was strong and obviously the...

    QLD COLTS 2018

Discounting a lot of previous comments above I believe Wests are the best all round side I’ve seen this year in Colts. Best pack and some really sharp attack also. It will take an excellent side to beat them. The young Heavies were quite a bit behind them today. All credit to the coaching staff...

    QLD COLTS 2018

Ahhhh...another year of Club football is upon us and isn't it exciting to see the new crop of club players. Will the doggies back up their last year form with a new team...Will Brothers and Uni for the old guard and go all the way to the GF again. Souths to make a run for the finals? All shall...

    QLD Colts - 2017

Some real excitement in this weekends games after one of the tightest comps in memory at the top. Congratulations to the minor premiers Wests...I remember 3 or so years ago they had to forefeet a game at St Lucia because of a depleted team. My how the tables have turned. Well done to them and...

    QLD Colts - 2017

Most definitely not a supporter of either club but I really haven't got the foggiest idea what your gripe is here Sage? There has been kudos given to the people involved and the players of a club for their program improving. A group of players who do not have maybe the reputations of other...

    QLD Colts - 2017

I reckon you won't be far away but I could think of a few more of the prem colts comp leaders players that would be in the mix(entire front row and winger with blue head protector from BSHS...Shay??). Also I think Kyle Oates and Sam Wallis(Uni) and Fenner(Sunnybank) would be in the mix. Always...

    QLD Colts - 2017

What a magnificent advertisement for the competition today in the prem colts game. The skill level, the intensity and the character shown by both sides was great to see. It ebbed and flowed back and forth...Uni showed great resolve in defending endless phases from Wests and then got a try having...

    QLD Colts - 2017

This competition is really heating up for places at the top...the heavies finding their feet in the last few weeks with some excellent performances and with real momentum, especially at home to Sunnybank. I am not surprised that Wests have kept up their march after seeing them early in the...

    QLD Colts - 2017

Went down to watch the top of the table clash in colts...what I can say unequivocally is that Wests were(in my opinion) at least 15 points a better side than Sunnybank but Bank held in there and huge credit to them for that. Wests missed 2 kicks in front of the posts about 15 and 25 metres out...

    QLD Colts - 2017

Uni back in the horse after a late loss at the new Kennel. Just overpowered and outpaced Souths who will, it looks, struggle this year with not a lot of depth unfortunately as they did well last year at stages including some eye catching wins. How about Wests getting up over the top of Brothers...

    QLD Colts - 2017

I didn't attend but the word was that GPS just got over the top of Uni. A very surprising result. Although they have not trialled well I would hope that Saturday will produce a performance at the new Sylvan Road.

    QLD Colts - 2017

Good on them...their new club facilities are very impressive...I am sure that was a big draw card for them. The competition needs Souths and Wests to be strong. I'd be interested to see the result of that game tomorrow.

    QLD Colts - 2017

...and so it begins again. After an excellent comp last year with extra teams improving the standard(Souths and Wests specifically) meant a much more competitive environment I would hope that this year will be similar. Anyone any mail about where some players have gone and who the trials are...

    2017 Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

I completely forgot about Angus, I had forgotten he was a colt last year...he just didn't play any colts for us so there is the gap. It'll be interesting to see how Reece Hewat goes, he hasn't played a game to my mind since the Aus V NZ schoolboy game at Ballymore 2015...I could be wrong but...

    2017 Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

I would think that of the prem colts from last year in QPR that Hoopert, Ma'afu, Hockings, Hunt, Edwards, Nucifora, Coward, Riley, Stewart, Ngamanu and McNamara will be in the squad for the JWC...I'm prob missing one but those are the ones off the top of my head.

    QLD Colts - 2016

I would describe the selection of Lenac as questionable indeed Breakdown. He only would have played a hand full of games for us this year, it seemed that there was a revolving door of halfbacks this year. Other than that I wasn't aware of injuries to McMillan so that would explain that one...

    QLD Colts - 2016

The North v South selection....we'll run with "questionable"....were these teams picked 6 months ago based on schoolboy teams?? No James McMillan from UQ, Jac VanEden from Wests doesn't get in? Picking guys that played minimal games and even guys who didn't start regularly on some teams. Hardly...

    QLD Colts - 2016

I think you wouldn't get disagreements on any of the three... However, pinning my colours to the mast I will go with man from the bulldogs in Maafu...correct me if I am wrong(any wests people on here?) but he is a colt next year as well, so too Hamish Stewart...a good crop of players coming...
