    CAS Rugby 2024

    15a Knox 62 Trinity 5
  2. bring back rucking

    NSW AAGPS 2023

No they haven’t, and didn’t play them in 13As either…. Those 2 sides are the best in that age group by a long way
  3. bring back rucking

    CAS Rugby 2023

Yep nsw rugby tv… which flies in the face of CAS not allowing cluch to show the games. I’ve never understood the full story there. The head of cluch is a knox old boy so it’s not without trying
  4. bring back rucking

    NSW AAGPS 2023

Showing my age hank - Damien Oval used to be exclusively rugby in the 90s and 1st XI cricket was played at the old ACU over the back of the school
  5. bring back rucking

    NSW AAGPS 2023

Knox is purpose built for rugby, they’ve just spent a bucket load re-turfing it with drainage etc as joeys did many moons ago. As for ISA, Oakhill doesn’t (or at least didn’t) have a cricket pitch on it… St Augustine’s could make the same claim but that’s Rat Park so not their own camp ground
  6. bring back rucking

    NSW AAGPS 2023

And he was exceptional - congratulations
  7. bring back rucking

    NSW AAGPS 2023

Also makes sense - sorry did not recognise some of the names as kings students given they have strangely decided to ignore school / association in the team list. I’d say in a lot of instances the schools have done more for their development than their clubs
  8. bring back rucking

    NSW AAGPS 2023

I think Knox has the most with 6 which makes sense. Tom Farr Jones unlucky not to be higher…. He has genuine speed. What is the go with Zach Fitler? Is he injured or did he decline GPS selection / higher honours to focus on league?
  9. bring back rucking

    NSW AAGPS 2023

Tiitii 1, Ata2, Goddard 3, syd junior second rowers, Ryan 6, Durbidge 7, brial 8, sharples 9 Walsh 10, Boston and Enasio in the centres, nsw country winger, Grover wing, Klem FB
  10. bring back rucking

    CAS Rugby 2023

One Knox player? I’d think not - likely McKinnon, Goddard, Ericsson, Ryan, Enasio and possibly Roach and Turner although both year 11
  11. bring back rucking

    ISA 2023

Yes both played - woods saw very little ball at fullback… extremely under utilised
  12. bring back rucking

    ISA 2023

Are woods and Conti injured for Pats? Would have thought they would have too much firepower between them for Kings 3rds
  13. bring back rucking

    CAS Rugby 2023

Fairly sure that Alloys game is at Knox
  14. bring back rucking

    CAS Rugby 2023

26-13 Knox over St Augustine’s at a very wet and muddy Rat Park. Knox always looked in control but it was an average game of rugby influenced heavily by conditions. Augustine’s played hard rugby and competed well for the full game. Knox couldn’t really get going with poor handling stifling momentum
  15. bring back rucking

    NSW AAGPS 2023

    Gee that blew out late
  16. bring back rucking

    NSW AAGPS 2023

It was an extremely physical game against a very strong knox forward pack so will both be better for the run. I think newington won the seconds by a try or 2. All games were very close except for year 7
  17. bring back rucking

    NSW AAGPS 2023

No when I left it was 10-5 to newington in the second half… Knox winger red carded early in the first half for a swing tackle that went wrong. No malice in it and the player was fine, but was a clear red. Newington looked very good, much fitter than years gone by and quite a compete side
  18. bring back rucking

    NSW AAGPS 2023

    Yep - 29 all in 14As, knox won 16as, new won 13As
  19. bring back rucking

    CAS Rugby 2023

Knox didn’t play a game on Saturday - they head to NZ for the holidays and then play newington on the last Saturday before term 2 commences
  20. bring back rucking

    NSW AAGPS 2023

Andrew Deegan was year 10 but not sure if young or old for the year…. He certainly wasn’t big
