    Sydney Subbies 2015

Received an email from Mr Richards stating the Festival of Rugby Weekend on Saturday 27th June has been cancelled due to low participation numbers and will be used as a wet weather weekend. Was actually looking forward to mingling with various clubs in other divisions. There is not a lot of...

    Sydney Subbies 2015

Both parties would be eager for the return clash at home to Canterbury in Round 13. Props to you guys for going undefeated in the season across all grades for a good portion of the season. No easy feat!

    Sydney Subbies 2015

Wow! Beecroft took their first loss of the year across all grades in Division 4, going down in First Grade 38-28 against Canterbury. Must have been a cracker of a game! Would like to hear a match summary from whoever was in attendance.

    Sydney Subbies 2015

That is how it went down by Subbies. I would have contacted Subbies for a 'please explain' if I were Rockdale at the time too. Must have been a bad experience of some sort. The Vales & Rockdale match had no yellow/red cards or warnings at all.

    Sydney Subbies 2015

We had the same ref in question last year against Rockdale who called off the game 20 minutes into the match. We were awarded the points because we were 5-0 up at the time. There was a bit of chirping in the scrums, next thing you know he is walking off the field to his car. Both coaches and...

    Sydney Subbies 2015

Fourth Division sounds like it is going to be a cracker of the season. Any update on the major injury from the Renegade's prop from last week?

    Sydney Subbies 2015

I think it's a good change compared to last year. Last year's final series was difficult when you met teams you had never played all year. Twice, depending on how far you went into late August/early September. This year seems like there is a Superbowl-esque ring to it.

    Sydney Colts - 2015

Any contacts from West Harbour Colts here? Emailed them, but no reply. After colts registration/training details, have a few league boys who want to switch to union.

2015 ARU 7s Age Championships and Commonwealth Youth Games

Very strange indeed. There are many great 7s tournaments down the east coast that isn't getting much coverage from the ARU that are pulling in numbers. You would think that they would highlight this. I've been coming across a few league boys in the offseason who are gaining an interest in...

Continued decline in Sydney Junior Rugby

Did Liverpool City Cougars juniors merge with Dundas juniors? I know they still operate out of Dwyer Oval. I've witnessed your point about juniors operating as separate entities to the seniors, do you think or have come across problems that have occurred because of this? Sometimes I question if...

Continued decline in Sydney Junior Rugby

Out west, there are not a lot of options to play junior club rugby. In general the sport is not offered in public schools as well as private schools out west bar Hurlstone Agriculture that I know of. I would like to think geographically that private schoolboy rugby is less of an issue in greater...

    Sydney Subbies 2014

Those are nice numbers straight out of school. I'd like to see you guys move up. I don't think I'm the only one who is curious to see you guys match it with the other clubs in Div 3. Will be a tight one on Saturday against Merrylands, expecting a close contest. We've never played them all year...
