Petaia was still good for a pretty cheap turnover before doing his shoulder this year. Not as glaring as Wright but it's ridiculous to paint him as a safe pair of hands

    Wallabies 2024

Always thought he looked good in the limited chances he got at Brums and was disappointed to lose him. Think his skills are a fair bit better than Hodge too, maybe not quite as good of an athlete

    Wallabies 2024

Completely agree re Kuenzle and suspect L Wright has pretty muck locked down the 6 jumper. Valetini has barely deviated from yesterday's form all season though, not sure the selector's needed reminding. Pretty concerned about our front row but there is at least competition for most other spots...

    Round 13: Brumbies v Crusaders Sat 18th 2.35PM @ GIO STADIUM

The one handed carry on attack after we'd won the kickoff back in the 2nd half looked worse because our scrum then pancaked, but was still frustrating. Getting beaten to that kick by McNichol was pretty ordinary as well, looked a try on replay at the ground. So I'm saying 2 howlers offset by...

    Round 13: Brumbies v Crusaders Sat 18th 2.35PM @ GIO STADIUM

Tough to award a pen try though. Unless I misunderstand the rule/its changed doesnt it have to have prevented an otherwise certain try? Brums actually gutsy to hang in that with a totally dysfunctional set-piece. Slipper cannot be fit, might need next week off. Aside from a couple of shocking...

Think Brums fans can stop complaining about OKeefe now

Has Alallatoa lost a bit of size? Cantabs have a class front row but he is having a tough afternoon.

Round 13 Rebels v Chiefs - Friday 17 May at AAMI at 7:35pm EST

Notorious guesser at scrum time. He's had an ok game generally though I think.

Not massively keen on him defending there...

Bit strange feeling confident going into a game vs the Crusaders. Scrum remains a big worry with Slipper unlikely to be fully fit and Alan still finding his feet. Personally don't love Frost at 6 either but might give him the freedom to seagull and do some damage out wide

    Brumbies 2024

I actually didn't think his output in the first half was especially down. Swinton was just good enough to land a big shot on him front on, which you very rarely see happen. Pretty sure he was over the gainline regularly aside from that, including in the lead up to Cale's try, and made a crucial...

    Round 12: Waratahs v Brumbies Sat 11th 7.35PM @ ALLIANZ STADIUM

Keen to hear if anyone else thinks Gordon had the better game. Lonergan's speed/quality of service and the welcome return of his accurate box kicking game had him clearly in front. Gordon's try was one that all competent halfbacks should score.

    Round 12: Waratahs v Brumbies Sat 11th 7.35PM @ ALLIANZ STADIUM

Agree Holloway and Swinton the oick up the tahs. Stsrting hooker playing at a level far above what could be reasonably expected from him too.

    Round 12: Waratahs v Brumbies Sat 11th 7.35PM @ ALLIANZ STADIUM

Good to see Lonergan back to his accurate best for Brums. Well done again to Bowron in shocking conditions. Nice also to see a response from Frost. Usual suspects (Valetini and Ikitau) a class above again.

    Round 12: Waratahs v Brumbies Sat 11th 7.35PM @ ALLIANZ STADIUM

Jesus has Shiggins taken over all the tahs supporter accounts tonight? Tahs would be up by 30 with a different ref from what I can make out. Brums disappointing physically again. Swinton making himself hard to leave out of a Wallabies squad

Creighton has taken a lot of stick on here for a long time but he was pretty tidy tonight I thought.

    Round 12: Waratahs v Brumbies Sat 11th 7.35PM @ ALLIANZ STADIUM

Looking at the injured list I see 5 starters - Porecki, Bell, Hanigan, Gleeson and Jorgensen. So the starting side is depleted but it's not a 3rd xv. Big issues with depth obviously, particularly in the front row. I think the Brumbies should win but there's still a lot of quality in that Tahs...
