    Qualifying Final Brumbies v Hurricanes (3rd v 4th) Sat 7th June @ GIO Stadium 7.35pm AEST

Slipper has been good this year but he was well off the pace in tests last year. I am not sure if he had a 'bad' year, was unsuited to Joe's style or if he was playing injured.

    Qualifying Final Brumbies v Hurricanes (3rd v 4th) Sat 7th June @ GIO Stadium 7.35pm AEST

So the Brumbies defensive structure is for their wingers to miss on on one tackles? That defensive structure won't win test matches

    Qualifying Final Brumbies v Hurricanes (3rd v 4th) Sat 7th June @ GIO Stadium 7.35pm AEST

It would be nice to see the Brumbies set up and knock over a drop goal from here

    Qualifying Final Brumbies v Hurricanes (3rd v 4th) Sat 7th June @ GIO Stadium 7.35pm AEST

I'm all for speeding up the game and increasing ball in play time but not at the expense of the contest. The lineouts are becoming a joke with the not-straight throws getting let go, will turn into league scrums if this keeps up, thrown straight to the halfback.

Didn't take long for the 'take the three' to not age well.. glad I was wrong

Straight in front 90 seconds till half time take the points

    Qualifying Final: 2.Crusaders v 5.Reds 6/06

Just watching the Brumbies v Canes fame now, I commented last night about the Reds breakdown performance and queried whether it was technique or S&C. The Brumbies are holding their own and not getting blown away at the breakdown. Is it the Laurie Fisher legacy (his influence and priority of the...

    Qualifying Final Brumbies v Hurricanes (3rd v 4th) Sat 7th June @ GIO Stadium 7.35pm AEST

Both of their wingers are showing why they have yet to play test rugby.

Nice strike back by the Brumbies. 7As (Allan Ala'alatoa) waited for his moment

3rd grade props have to start out somewhere whilst they wait for the weight gain to be able to pack scrums

    Qualifying Final: 2.Crusaders v 5.Reds 6/06

Tate may struggle to make the match day XXIII with Louis Werchon waiting in the wings.

    Qualifying Final: 2.Crusaders v 5.Reds 6/06

Early in the year when the Reds were playing other Australian teams? Seemed to struggle at the breakdown against all the Kiwi teams. S&C should also incorporate strength. Would be interesting to see how our strength component differs from other clubs around the world. It is not a new...

    Qualifying Final: 2.Crusaders v 5.Reds 6/06

Just watching the game now (know the result as I saw the writing on the wall after 15 minutes and checked to confirm my suspicions) and have two queries. 1. Why do Australian players play dumb rugby so often? For example Flook with the early break throwing the long slow pass wide rather than the...

    Reds v Drua

Yellow card remains as Tim Ryan luckily "landed safely". Surely the upgrade depended on the action not the result. Fijian player didn't look like he was going for the ball in that instance and took out the player in the air.

    Reds v Drua

Causation equals correlation? Flook back and all of a sudden the Reds wingers are looking good and scoring tries.

Brumbies v Crusaders Rd 16 (last) Fri 30th May @ GIO Stadium 7.35pm AEST

Like with all Oz teams it is often the little things when the pressure is on that leads to a loss.

Brumbies v Crusaders Rd 16 (last) Fri 30th May @ GIO Stadium 7.35pm AEST

Noah Lolesio has been the starting 10 for the Brumbies for 6 years. Any flyhalf worth his salt would have organised his team into field position to take the 3 there. Very poor leadership

Tell me they are setting for a field goal.
