    Yeah, given the cattle...makes sense. But back 3 concerns me! The other option is Donaldson at 15 and Lynagh at 10 and keep AK (Andrew Kellaway) in 14. I think Toole deserves his chance too. Last week - his Brumbies combination with Lolesio would have been very invaluable.

    I like this logic - I reckon Jorgo is very close to starting at 14. Him, Wright and MK as a back 3 is pretty exciting, with AK (Andrew Kellaway) as cover. What are your thoughts on the 3rd backs replacement? (assume AK (Andrew Kellaway) and Jake locked in)

    Yes and No. Joe, Jeff, Laurie etc have a pretty good idea who their preferred 'leadership' group is. Being skipper is a lot more than just being the best player. Clearly they see Harry as having leadership potential.

    Yep - Super Rugby form should not be the reason to preference a player any more. I am all for picking on form - when it is somewhat indicative of possible performance at a higher level.

    No, I am saying that the gap between Super Rugby and Test Rugby is much larger these days...therefore, not a good guide on how prepared a player is for test Rugby.

    You and I are on the same page...as far as historical logic goes - but I am not sure our old man logic holds any more. For example, I agree completely that Test footy is a big step up from club footy. It used to be a small step up from Super Footy...but now the step up from Super Rugby to test Rugby...
