Narrowly beat 2024 2s winger Will Unterwegger for selection. Very similar games, but Wright's performance last week with a meat pie must have gotten him over the line. Still odd that 2s prem winning winger, in yr 11 (2024), isn't playing top grade.

Crazy fact. Any other cases like this? I know plenty of boys play Bs-Cs year 7- 10 and then find themselves in the 1s in year 12, whether that's due to them being unrecognised young or a vast improvement.

*Undefeated in the B/C competition. Any other 16A team (sub SBHS) would run circles around those boys, same with Grammar 1s and 2s.

Aga-Petos, O Large, Lemoto. All out. Lemoto is fit to play, bit dusty after his getaway. Large shouldn't be far behind him. Not sure about Petos. Nonetheless, plenty of size/skill on the sideline for Scots.

Speaking of superstars in the 15s Angus Guilfoyle (Younger brother of Will Guilfoyle, 2023 Scots 1st XV Captain) and Ben Wright both from Scots could find themselves in opens.

I saw this question on the other forum: Who were some underrated players from the season? From Scots I think both Angus Newman and Elliot Rainford were terrific, got through a lot of unnoticed work for Scots allowing their backs to do the pretty stuff especially in the backend of the season.

Reffing was pretty poor at Scots, high tackle before the last try should have been called.

Will Scots finish second if they beat Shore 1:30, catch the end of the 16A and get a good seat for 2s then 1s, go on one of the stands on the right side when you are facing the field on the school side so no boys take your seat.

Coming into this year Scots were favourites for many with a nearly all year 12 Backline full of stars and a solid forward pack. In term 2 it is no question that they underperformed and couldn't play as a team however their loses where all of small margins. This term they have made a huge...
