U18 Academy Games and Australia U18s

Waverley is another one who boasts a lot of league signed talent and we haven’t seen it there. Isaiya Katoa even played in the “grand final” against Knox in 2022 after being told he had been picked to play for Tonga in the Rugby League World Cup. It was really really poor from JS to sit out on...

He definitely wasn't injured. It was a t&c of his league contract. Didn't play rugby but was still active around the school.

Give Kingsley Uys a contract NOW.

Yep. He’s back next year with Randwick Grade though.

    CAS Rugby 2024

Has more to do with the fact it came from a known Barker basher.

Ned was cleared by an independent doctor to play (not prompted by the school)... Did this make it legal under the Rugby NSW rules? No. But he was not suffering from concussion symptoms, and in fact at no point suffered head trauma when he was blue-carded. So, no. Has nothing to do with his...

    CAS Rugby 2024

It wasn't an obstruction. I explained this in last years thread. Do I need to explain it again? As long as the "arrow-head" of the maul doesn't pass the ball back through the maul then it's not an obstruction. The arrow-head in this scenario didn't do that, he broke from the maul, and he scored...

I get this. But Nudgee aren't Aloys. They're a premier rugby school in the world. Just frustrating at the 1stXV level. My frustration doesn't stem from this game, it's something I've always found frustrating.

Never understood this rule. What kind of game punishes dominance?

    CAS Rugby 2024

Barker 2nds defend extremely well especially for a 2nds team.... Unfortunately that's only half the game.

    U16/U19 Competition 2023

Who were the standouts? I assume from scoreline primarily Tahs boys

"Nothing achieved," after describing what would be at the very least, a small improvement to the existing structure. Also the whole "acquired," thing is dead.

    NSW AAGPS 2024

Trial showed a reduction in concussions. Can't compare rugby league to rugby union when rugby league never teaches good tackle tecnhique.

I also said boys do better in co-ed, girls don't. Did I not?

I quite literally said exactly that.

    NSW AAGPS 2024

Very heavily debated topic. I tend to believe that statistical trend because it is consistent with my experiences. The fact of the matter is most only will experience one form of private school education. I am in a rare position as I have the insight of attending both an elite GPS school, and a...

Because it's better. Times are changing. Boys clubs for misognystic meatheads are outdated. There's a reason Barker has the longest waitlist of any school in Australia right now. I think you'll find both Newington and Cranbrook in time, will become far more in demand.
