    CAS Rugby 2013

The Barker vs Knox game is really shaping up to be a big event this Saturday! According the the Barker College Facebook page, the wallabies will be at the Rugby on Saturday. On top of this, I hear they're expecting big crowds down in Hornsby. Should be a really big game, I certainly will try to...

    CAS Rugby 2013

Reading some of the above posts about people complaining how Waverly has their prep school players poached? That a bit petty don't you think? Can you really complain about loosing prep school kids, lots can change in ~10 years guys. I know that A LOT of the boys that played in the 'prep/junior...

    CAS Rugby 2013

"Do we know what suspension was handed out?" There was no match suspension, however the player was on a 'strict leash.' Any disciplinary issues during the game, no matter how minor, would have resulted in the coach being forced to take the player off, and he would have been suspended for next...

    CAS Rugby 2013

I'd just like to make a note, that it isn't Barker complaining. Good on Waverly, they played well, but please don't portray Barker as sore losers that blame the referee. You must remember that (most likely) none of the posters on this thread are members of the Barker firsts team (the coaches...

    CAS Rugby 2013

Yes.... we do remember how their season ended.. With a big shiny shield. Sure they lost their very last game, but don't use a loss in their final game to hide from the fact that they still dominated the season. And will do exactly the same this year.

    CAS Rugby 2013

In my honest opinion I think CAS played extremely well considering the quality of their opponents. GPS were always going to be bigger, stronger and better overall, and as far as I'm aware many spectators were expecting a thrashing but I really think both teams put on a great show. For GPS...

    CAS Rugby 2013

Really wish there would be more online footage of the Barker games. Most other schools seem to have game highlights etc and it seems somewhat of a shame that perhaps the best and most talked about team in the competition has no real footage to watch...

    CAS Rugby 2013

I agree with the excitement to see Akopian selected for CAS I's, I think he is under appreciated by coaches within the school and definitely deserved his selection. However I couldn't disagree more with your opinion on Stoltz. Captain of (by far) the in form team of the season. He is leading a...

    CAS Rugby 2013

From Barker, Burkett, Smerdon and Kirkby are year 11's. I'm not sure about the other schools. Kirkby is a great player, by far the best half-back of the school, I'm somewhat surprised to see him selected for the CAS I's though. Having said that, good on him, I think he'll step up to the plate well.
