The fans were at the ground - its just not often then whole crowd is in the stands as there is so much on around it the ground. The Perth sun shines on the main grandstand all day but the shed (left of broadcast) and western stand was pretty full for most games

After the Super Rugby squads take the cream who is left? Who's going to fund those teams S&C, analytics, physio as well as coaches etc. Using Super Rugby clubs as the base the infistructure and personnel are there and you are just adding players

That sounds a hell of a lot like a comp called the NRC. You could rather than an A comp run an 8 team comp with each super club responsible for two Force - Perth/Melb ACT - Canberra/country NSW NSW - 2 X Sydney QLD - city/country 7 rounds + 2 weeks finals

AFL and Basketball is where they are at in WA. The islander boys are running around in Union and League - but we just don't have as many over here

Its probably better than putting their new clubs. It is repeating of a pattern. I remember a RA post that listed the best and fairest of the other four clubs with nothing about the Rebels. They are gone and not coming back, but it does feel a bit rough to make it appear that they haven't...

Looking at the squad announcements this year using junior clubs. The cynic in me thinks this is solely so RA dont have to put the Rebels on anything

Potentially hit the local comp more than the Force. I think we are at the rusted on crew coming regularly to the Force games so the League is probably not going to pull too many of those away. Long term the floaters may move between the two clubs depending on success or otherwise of the teams.

The biggest talking point is the West is likely to be demoted to Division B for next year (if we still have this structure), having won the comp in 2022. The recession is hitting some WA clubs (though not Paly yet ;))

UWA was supposed to be in Division A but was dropped out partly due to what @ForceFan said but also because of "irregularities" in the team sheets of the 2s and 3s last year. I think, as a club, there have been issues for a few years with 1s being in the top two or three, but both 2s and 3s...
