    Super Rugby 2022

Having no crowd in NZ probably doesn't either. The games feel like they lack a bit of intensity without a rabid crowd

Super Rugby Rnd 2: Waratahs v Reds AKA The 2022 Festival of Hate.

If this was being played at Suncorp, I'd back a comfortable Reds win, but with home ground advantage I think the Tahs could spring an upset here. Can't imagine they'll be much in it either way. the flyhalf match up intrigues me . will be a lot of pressure on both 10s.

    Reds Vs Tahs pre-season trial, Roma 12/02/22 @ 7:30pm

My big take away from watching the game was man its great to have some rugby to watch again. As the commentors mentioned the win is probably more important for the tahs given their 2021 campaign. Other than that its tough to take much from these trial games as a viewer. They give the coaches a...

Any idea what happened to the stream of the game?

    Reds v Force pre-season trial. 5 Feb.

Only got to watch about 10 mins of the game but it was enough to get me fired up for the season. Unfortunately i have one more weekend of twiddling my fingers until round 1

    RWC 2027 Australia

If Rugby Australia are smart they'll schedule Australia's toughest pool game and their semi final match at Suncorp. It's clearly the stadium where the wallabies play their best footy historically. Plus it clearly won't get the nod for the Grand Final (despite being our best rugby stadium).

    Super Rugby 2022

I wasnt referring to any specific country. I was just referring to the inevitable spread of covid that we will be living with once international travel is back and mandatory quarantines are gone. The south african variant, and any other variants will eventually find their way to aus

    Super Rugby 2022

Other countries have said this but ended up back in lockdown. If we get to a point where our hospitals can't cope with the numbers then the state governments will be forced to resort to lockdowns. We've seen this overseas. Seems unlikely but certainly possible particularly if some gnarly new...

    RWC 2027 Australia

I'm unfamiliar with the process, but wasn't South Africa announced as the preferred candidate for 2023 and then lost out on the votes anyway? What's the chances we still lose out?

Wales v Australia, Sunday 21st 4.30 am ADST.

Fuck this tour has been a massive stich up. The ref did every thing possible to get the welsh home. Thought we were clearly the better side.

    England v Australia - Twickenham, 14 Nov, 4:30am AEDT

Just watched the game. Wallabies attack was just horrendous. Unfortunately we really seem to now be a team that just doesnt know how to plqy well on the road. The only positive is that i did see enough to believe the wallabies should win the england series at home next year. Also the selection...

    England v Australia - Twickenham, 14 Nov, 4:30am AEDT

Yeh, although I re-read the Fairfax article and it wasn't categorical. the headline was (states both "set to miss" the game), but then the article itself just states its a real possibility, so who knows. I assume the wallabies are still hopeful that AA will pass the protocols but are planning...

    England v Australia - Twickenham, 14 Nov, 4:30am AEDT

Foxsports reporting that AA will likely play. I hope they're right.

Qwerty where did you hear Tupou has been ruled out? I'm expecting he will be but I can't see anything reported just yet

Scotland vs Australia - Murrayfield, 8 Nov 1:15AM AEDT

Another one of those classic wallabies games where they are their own worst enemy. I thought we were the better side for about 60 minutes but it all fell apart in the final 20. The home town refereeing on this tour is going to be hard to overcome. TBH we probably win that game if Tupou doesn't...

Northern Tours 2021 - NZ, SA, etc

i really hope the refereeing in the nz/italy and sa/wales games isnt a sign of things to come for the next few weeks. The benefit of the doubt seems to be given to the defending side way more often than the attacking side. My biggest gripe is the apparent abandoning of any attempt to police...

    RWC 2027 Australia

The way I see it, you only get one chance to make a big splash to grow the game in the United States. Anyone who's spent any time in the US will know that Americans are extremely insular when it comes to their sports. If it's not NFL,NBA,MLB, etc, by and large they don't want to know about it...

    RWC 2027 Australia

I know next to nothing about the state of rugby in the States, but if this weekend was anything to go by I can't imagine World Rugby would be considering them to be a genuine option for 2027. I tuned in to the game to see what fanfare they might muster to give their WC bid some momentum, but the...
