    Rugby TV Ratings 2016

The laws apply universally - it makes no difference to the NH, Asia or to the Kiwis. I see plenty of entertaining games with the same laws. With out AFL, the NRL would be the problem. Without NRL Soccer would be the problem.....etc etc. Its a moot point and ignoring reality. Have a look at...

    Rugby TV Ratings 2016

Sadly I think the ARU has sailed us in to waters where we are now at the mercy of the Sporting Gods. Rugby is stuck somewhere in-between being dead in the water or adrift; with no wind and at the mercy of the currents. It wont change for a long while yet as they (the ARU) have through grossly...

    Rugby TV Ratings 2016

As a draw card either are the Wallabies. If you compare the Springboks and Wallabies side by side at the moment they are scarily similar. At least the can blame it on politics and quotas. Our issues are self inflicted.

    Rugby TV Ratings 2016

^^^^ the other issue is simply watching it. Yeah, it was a win (Woot woot! ) but after watching the AB v Pumas, the NRC or Mire 10 earlier, even flicking channels to the NRL or AFL it was shite game to watch as it a step down in quality and entertainment. As an entertainment product it...

NRC Rnd 3: Brisbane City v Canberra Vikings

Begs the question why they signed him? Same can be said for Coleman, except he has been around a lot longer. The better alternative would be one of the JiD 10's.

NRC Rnd 3: Brisbane City v Canberra Vikings

On what planet would you put Coleman at 10 when you have the opportunity to give Horan a run. FFS!

    Brumbies 2017

Unknown where Ruan is going as yet. Speculation Tah's were after him, but I fear it will be O/S somewhere - and as I have said before, I hope he does not get added to the list of lost players like Michael Ala'alatoa.

    Brumbies 2017

With Ruan, I would love to find out if it was money or that he always seem to be considered a bench player, even after showing fantastic form last year and being talked about in Wallabies conversations (but not by Bernie etc). It was fairly well known that he has signed in Japan for the next few...

    The Wallabies Thread

I think you are partially correct, except that parts of Aussie rugby are ridiculously emotionally clingy to players, and get hung up on the loyalty over performance issue. Smart management would have him stepping back to take a break and move to more of a mentoring role and the closer off the...

    Brumbies 2017

IMHO a long way off to even come close to remotely compensating for letting two really good props walk due to stupidity and emotional attachment. He may fill a hole for one year, but the void that the Brumbies stupidity has created will now take a few years to fix.

Canberra Vikings - Offical NRC Team Thread

On the presumption that he doesn't consider Canberra his home and preferred place to be, especially to play NRC. I would presume that playing here under the nose of the Brumbies coaches, with other members of the Brumbies backline would be far more beneficial to his future than playing close to...

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

No; as your comments are a clear demonstration of how fine the margins are in respect of interpretation with this type of incident and how absurd the whole situation is!

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

Close, but no. You need physical and player evidence to be able to establish an offence. Both were missing. TV (Video) and the referees really only corroborate the the other 2 elements. Its not hard to follow, just poorly written (rules and difficult to deal with unless its obvious.

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

I think there a lot of people who need to get over it! I will preface this comment with - this is not a defence of the incident, only pointing out some facts. There is also a significant difference in the incidents they are comparing. The incident at the RWC had two key elements that helped...

Stop talking all logical and wanting evidence! This is all about the usual baseless fickle emotional responses and going with the crowd! Wins fix everything apparently and validate qualifications! ;) (until the next loss then it resets the count - rinse and repeat) When did the ARU ever hire...

Australia Needs to get better at pressuring referees

If its Owens, we could always get Moore's mummy to sort Nigel out. "Äre you being mean to my little Steven? His little fiend Michael just rang and said you were picking on him and it was not fair and you wont let him have his turn with the ball, also that you are letting some other boy called...

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

Owens does a lot of media in the NH. We at times forget how human they are and why they react the way they do on the field. If you want to be entertained, follow Owens on twitter!

    Wallaby Coaching Staff

As i said in the Brumbies thread: Is he hedging his bets? It may depend on what happens with the Wallabies. If they start winning he would be a good backs coach, of they continue losing he can exit, or while the Wallabies dire performances continue, if he gets the Brumbies humming: a replacement...
