I heard that from the club but it appears to be false. They have been fielding two very similar teams for a few weeks now. Not sure what the wash up is though. According to the draw, Coota have two grades.

The draw for the second half of the competition will be out soon, it has been circulated to all clubs via email. Looks like there's a lot happening in the finals series this year across the many different levels with 3rd Grade and Women's essentially following their 1st and 2nd Grade teams...

In recent years, there have been some solid hitouts. The Ag v Temora match particularly from two years ago was a corker. I'm a little divided about the finals series too, but will wait and see how it pans out.

I didn't think it looked a try in real time, I reckon the try was called based on the slow mo. Dixon's response after grounding showed me that he didn't think he'd scored.

Anyone got any thoughts on the Elliot Dixon try from last night? I haven't looked through the match thread but am surprised that there hasn't been a mention of it on here yet. Am I missing something? For me, I thought it made contact with the leg of the defender, not the ground.
