What a Suprise!! A terrific performance today from the BGS First XV, getting up 28–21 over Shirley Boys’ High School from New Zealand in what turned out to be a thrilling encounter at R.A. Henderson Oval. Despite missing 6–7 key starters, Grammar came out firing and raced to a 21–0 lead early in...

Mate, I am familiar with this absolute unit, William "Fangie" Fanshawe, Brookfields Finest Export Since (BBCOB, 25) Gussy Collins. After learning the game played in heaven with his boys from the swishh at IGS to BBC where he mastered his trade, and let me tell ya, the bloke is a bloody monster...

Elijah's an old hand at the GPS comp now—bloke’s got the experience and the boot to match. Reminds me of a young Sam Green (BGSOB, 2012), same silky kicking game, same bulldog mentality. If he fires this season, Grammar might just be climbing that table quicker than a rat up a drainpipe...

Hey QTT, Had a yarn with my son, and he said the BGS boys have been in camp since last week, putting in the hard yakka. Heaps of last year’s crew are back, so they’ve got a solid base, and sounds like they’ve chucked a fair bit of coin into bringing in some gun recruits. Looks like they’re...

Happy to be Back fellow forumists, Really hoping to see my beloved BGS back where they belong in 2025. There is some word of major push for the Prem in 2025 which i think is a bit unrealistic but yet again i can only hope. I also have heard news that the grammar rugby preseason has already...

Does Anyone have their 2024 team of the season chosen yet, curious to see who people have chosen in certain positions and if any players from weaker sides have made it. -Cheers DB

Met the bloke at BBC and got his WhatsApp, told me he had a two weeker but I'm pretty sure he has been out for longer. Its ok to lay the law down but i think clear communication is important. Hes been watching though, and been feeding me good insight. Hope to see him back in here soon. -Cheers DB

I think this is real unfair to a young and inexperienced BGS side. They have progressed amazingly as the season has gone on and are inching closer and closer to a victory. Id take BGS 1s over the Nudgee 2s EVERYDAY! -Cheers DB

Agreed, The School Ruined the spirit when they stopped having games at the school. I can remember back in my youth going to watch the grammar boys up on spring hill. That place was electric it was an absolute cauldron, was loud and echoed, you were close to the action it was a real atmosphere...

Hey GEO, Im pretty sure the big lad had played a few games in the 1s until some dumb off field decisions got him dropped. Real shame:(. -Cheers, DB

Morning Forumists, Can everyone please drop their best forward and back from this weekend. For me forward of the week was the huge yet nimble front-rower Barry Smith (BGS), with an amazing performance that would land him a spot in any GPS forward pack! and the back of the week IMO has to be...

Good evening Lads, I had an absolute blast this Saturday @BBCVsBGS what a ripper of a day! Good competition all around, with exiting games all the way through the age groups. However the highlight of the day was meeting one of my fellow forumists @Guan Syun, he truly is a great bloke. We shared...

Hey QTT, From what i know BGS has around 6-7 Starters in their squad returning next year and 2-3 more on their bench. Which is why i presume all the BGS hype for Next year is coming from. -Cheers, DB
