    Brumbies 2025

Did struggle early on with some defensive reads but improved as the match went on. Made a very important tackle on Pakeho during a counter attacking phase halfway through the 2nd half. Was more talking about his physicality on both sides of the ball, nailed a few players from the Highlanders a...

    Brumbies 2025

Very bright last 7 days for the club after the disappointing Lolesio news with a big win up in Queensland and Scott, Meredith, and now Feliuai re-signing through to the World Cup. Great to see him stick around, thought he might go overseas as one of the former Rebels but thankfully sticking with...

Yes, did it quite well too. Very smart operator Rhys.

    Brumbies 2025

Will be Rhys Van Nek off the bench at loosehead.

    Force v Highlanders R8

Vaiolini Ekuasi's ball-carrying is so dynamic and threatening. His work-rate, power, and footwork coming into contact is close to the best in Aussie Rugby at the moment. Shame he's not an Aussie.

Disappointing Meredith can not get a look in since the Drua match in Round 5. Has speed, a strong kick, good footwork, and a brave defender. Goes from being the flyhalf in a match-winning performance at Eden Park against the Blues and is now running the waters.

Rhys Van Nek. Incredible from the big fella, changed the course of the match big time with a bunch of scrum penalties. Immense effort, very good player. Tom Hooper very strong again, Rory Scott busy, with Goddard and Feliuai the pick of the backs for me. Front-rowers (all 6) were the match winners.

Some nice changes on the bench this week for the Brumbies. Liam Bowron, Rhys Van Nek, Tuaina Taii Tualima, Klayton Thorn will be bring some freshness into the game. Some quality players here who haven't had much of a chance this season. Seems to be some frustration in Brumby camp though, the...

    Waratahs 2025

Wow that is a surprise, and very good news for Aus Rugby. Thought he would go overseas for sure considering he is not getting any game time at the Tahs. With Slipper retiring from internationals post-Lions and Bell contracted through to 2027, really important to lock down guys like Kailea and...

    Brumbies 2025

Such bad news about Charlie Cale, was going so well after that bad shoulder problem last year. Speaks to the Brumbies depth that despite that huge injury to the backrow stocks Rory Scott is on the bench.

Brumbies v Fijian Drua Rd 5 Friday 14th Mar @ GIO Stadium 7.35pm AEDT

Brumbies trying really hard to attract people to matches with different initiatives, kind of sad for such a strong competent side who produces very good results year after year doesn't get better support from locals. But also factors like Canberra's population feeds into that when compared to...

Anyone know what the injury to Cale is? Hopefully not serious, would like to see a Valetini, Scott, Cale back-row for next week against the Tahs.

Thought Sapsford plugged the hole at 12 really well after the early injury to David, I know he cops some criticism in defence but thought he stepped up well tonight. Back-row were fantastic with Tom Wright, Len Ikitau, and Andy Muirhead the stand out backs for me. Reserve front-row (Schoupp...

    Brumbies 2025

Feao's two performances this year for the Brumbies: Fijian Drua Round 1 and Blues Round 4 he has scrummed really well. I think the scrum has looked the best and most dangerous when he has been on the paddock.

Blues v Brumbies Fri Mar 7 Rd 4 2024 (Eden Park)

Tom Hooper 20 Carries, Rory Scott 12 Carries, Charlie Cale 12 Carries. Tom Hooper 21 Tackles, Rory Scott 23 tackles, Charlie Cale 13 Tackles. Some serious output from the Brumbies back-row on Friday night, really rolled up their sleeves and were up for the physical challenge.

Blues v Brumbies Fri Mar 7 Rd 4 2024 (Eden Park)

Yeah he is a special individual with immense talent. He played so well tonight along with Pollard and Feao, hopefully he puts together an injury free season for the Brums and gets back into the Wallabies.

    Queensland Reds 2025

He is a huge talent. Strong physical ball carrier with good footwork and a big accurate kick too. He is a special talent.

    Queensland Reds 2025

Dre Pakeho is a gun, played super well in that Wild Knights game. He should be the 12 while Paisami is out, need to give him opportunities. A future Wallaby 12 for sure.

    Brumbies 2025

Sounds like Rory Scott is out for tonight’s game with a rolled ankle. C.Neville looks to be on the bench. So either Lachie Shaw has dropped into the backrow or Tualima is in the backrow with the two locks (Shaw and Neville) as no.19 and 20.
