Um, clearly an avid Knox supporter, which is great, but your choices baring injury are way way way off. 7 players from Knox is extremely wishful, as an example, and there will be many from other school. There is a young man at Waverley in year 10 this year who next year will be the best CAS...

    CAS U16s 2016

Guys relax, benadams you did say 4 tries disallowed against joeys off mauls. Regardless of school, and Knox and Trinity at the moment are the best examples, the pick and drive times 10 is the most BORING styles of rugby there is. Yes effective BUT not worth watching. There is no need for name...

Is that you AK (Andrew Kellaway)?

    CAS U16s 2016

Sideline, I think a great number of people would like to see an annual event ,by age group, of the GPS and CAS winning schools play each other at a fair ground , this has been floated for years. also all funds could go to a good cause, just need the head masters and an administrative body...

    CAS U16s 2016

Rugbyhd, you should post this on the GPS website and get ready for the laughter. Not because it wouldn't be a good game but because you need to realise that no-one ever is equal to the ALWAYS superior and best school boy comp in Aust.regardless of state. For what it is worth the Waverley 13a...

Mr tt, you should check the "sporting" results/prowess of Knox over the years across the major sports. You will get a surprise! Given the unequalled resources, other schools have done better. Like your enthusiasm but Knox will be lucky to win any of the major sports in 2017',maybe soccer and...

Lee, Snort, HJ, Sideline and co, I too would like to thank you for your work all year. I have sat on the sideline watching for some time, laughed a lot, nearly cried a lot(but too tough for that!) and decided to join the fray! I suspect we all have an allegiance to some school side, which...

Hello BM, I ranked the teams for 2017 to get a response, and got it, thanks. Love your Knox passion, passion is good! That's why we all write the odd comment here. Anyway, next year will be great again. Get ready for some more blips on the radar.

A "juggernaut " is unbeatable at top level and throughout the grades historically. Calling Knox that is unfortunate to say the least, certainly wasn't the case throughout the ages this year and will most definitely won't be the case in 2017. I think other schools will prevail next year.

I think SDW has the right boy but incorrect name re front rower, it should read McCormack not Mcguigan,I think.

Chip Kick, have a look at SDW's suggested team on the prior page. He will be very close to the final team. His forward line up,I believe will be spot on, and same for the backs. It is a very strong team.

    NSW AAGPS 2017

B&W, I agree with your comments about Shore, leaving is the last thing that the GPS needs! Careful about your comments about the CAS comp, there are a few other schools as strong as Knox, they are not "wasted" in the CAS comp. What may need to happen is a tier 1 and tier 2 comp, between the...

    CAS Rugby 2017

Yes BM Finn Wright is in year 11, so back next year 2017. I completely understand your question, as normally if a student makes the 1sts in year 10 they are a winger due to great speed etc but not a forward due to size/strength. So he made the firsts in year 10 as a prop, rather special. The...

    CAS Rugby 2016

SDW, I think you are right but I do know at Waverley the soccer teams, which like most other schools out number the rugby teams, have been asking why they can't man the BBQ so the money generated goes into soccer rather than rugby. Do Not underestimate these sideshow sports because tragically...

    CAS Rugby 2016

BJ, the ARU appear to not give a toss. As a guideline, looking ahead, there is a huge gap between some of the 13's rugby teams in the CAS to support your comment. BUT the Waverley 13a's,and Knox and Trinity are solid. I would love to see the Waverley team play the best in the GPS 13's,probably...

Think Waverley will be well placed next year, good depth, and some real super stars. 1 won his first premiership today in year 10 and he is already dominant on the field!

Yes guys it was a great season and some wonderful footy played.I do think brumiejack is correct but I am equally sure that all the boys play with great passion for their schools. That's what makes school boy rugby the best you will ever see!

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2016

HG,I had dinner last night with many of my school mates from the Waverley 1979 side which was arguably the best side side in NSW that year. We all agreed that the problem was the marketing of the game ,ie out easily out done by ALL other codes. It is a business but is NOT being treated as...

Hi BM, it's that Wavverley parent again. I am sure we are all grateful that the weather will be good tomorrow, don't like wet it stifles great footy in my opinion. Having listened to many "forward dads" they love it, but truth is its badly boring and suits non athletes. Can't wait for the...
